Charles was a real manipulator. As soon as he realizes he did something wrong, or at least had a hand in it, he plays the part of a sympathizer towards Phyllis and blames Jim, possibly knowing that he'd get Dwight on his side (I don't remember if Charles knew of the Jim/Dwight rivalry). He should've apologized and felt just as bad as Jim, and maybe not blasted the ball.

Charles showed that Michael being a goofball boss isn't necessarily a bad thing.

This has been driving me crazy! I slowed the video down so I could watch frame by frame and I honestly can't see an transition. How did they do this?
