And this passage in context was talking about certain Jewish traditions that were created by men which were being followed more vigorously than the commandments of God. @7Rojah7 Yes, I believe strongly that the Catholic faith is of God. There are no idols in the Catholic faith. Idol worship is strictly forbidden. Only God is to be worshiped. The popes didn't remove any of the commandments. The answer to your own accusation is in what you just wrote. The Early Christian church used the Decalogue mainly from the Deuteronomy 5. They didn't remove anything, The Jewish traditional version follows more closely to Exodus 20 as well as some of the Protestant reformers

@7Rojah7 They aren't different. They're based more closely off of those in Deuteronomy 5. (the early Reformers agreed with Catholics) The Jews from Exodus 20 and Protestant reformers (16th Century) as well but do not follow the exact numbering of the Jews. Lastly, there is no 'Dogmatic" Declaration from the Catholic church on which 10 commandments list a Catholic MUST use. So, there's no problem at all. How did you arrive at your 10 commandment listing? who told you it was the "Only true one"?

@7Rojah7 Daniel was speaking of the emperor Antiochus Ephiphanes who desecrated the temple, did in fact change times and laws. Not to say that this can't happen again in another time era, but I don't know how you would arrive that this would somehow mean the Catholic Church. You can read a bit about this in the Bible; book of Maccabees. It's a shame that 7 books were removed from the bible. Many Christians lost good historical and biblical teachings with those books.

He also knows the Latin language very well and does not need the internet to translate the meaning of the word Vatican. Jesus never mentioned a change of the holy day and all the apostles kept the sabbath holy....long after the crucifiction. There is no command in the bible to cease work on the 1st day of the week. Constantine was a sun-worshiper and blended Romes traditional pagan practices into Christianity as a political ploy. The NC has to do with placing your trust in God.

@vachief Another 15 minutes in the study of christian history would have explained to you the tradition behind the mitre. I bet the ties around you pastor's neck is more expensive that that mitre. 15 minutes on a catholic web site will tell teach you everything on that. But I'm not counting on it

Protestants doctrines change with popular vote. What was a sin a 100 years ago are not anymore and guess why?

@vitolucabratsi ..Yeah....thanks to the Jesuit society modern Protestantism now resembles Romanism, they have done an outstanding job, no doubt about it. Catholicism has always taught that there is no salvation except through the thier church...Jesus taught that thier is no salvation except through him. The "Rock" that Jesus was refering to was him....not Peter. I agree....Luthor did'nt know as much as we do now, but he was on the right path.

@vachief ..Here is another example....the rosary. Rosary beads have been used by Paganism thoughout antiquity. Did Jesus tell us to use rosary beads in prayer? Did the apostales ever use or promote the use of rosary beads in prayer? The answer is painfully obvious.
