  • impressive

  • I've struck internet gold here.

  • 0:34 the moment I became a TROK fan

  • This is better than the album version.

  • Kinda jelly of this drummer...questions my own 8 years of playing.

  • @Irishvolume Haha dude right. I think I should just quit while I'm not ahead.

  • that little fill at 2:00-2:04 is so fucking tight

  • I've found ......music.....actual talent......amazing

  • I know that no band is liked by every single person, but 20 dislikes? Really? How about a little respect for some genuine talent for a change?

  • @emw1018 you have to take into account the number of retarded people there are in the world....

  • @emw1018 Exactly! Just because you don't like the song doesn't mean you should be blind to the fact that this band is extremely talented and tasteful and should be respected. I agree with you 100%

  • @AlexMNet Not wanting to flame, they are talented, very much so... this sounds cheesy as hell to me though.

  • @jokei666 I can respect that. You can at least recognized their talent but you don't have to like them.

  • 4:10 the timbale player is killing it and the camera barely shows him!

  • we have found it,people. THIS is music.

  • @idymface their bio states that they are a jazz-inspired prog pop-rock

  • they kindoff reminds me at Rush.

  • they say the heart of the band is the drummer.....

THE DRUMMER BEATS LIKE A GOD MAKING LOVE TO LOVE IT SELF

    VIOLENT, PASSIONATE AND AWESOME

  • the bass is insane in this song WOW!!!!

  • So, the dude holding the guitar - ahh, isn't he actually playing his kazoo?

  • @idymface Miles Davis and Pat Metheny would call this Fusion :)

  • @Nemowcap4ever As a 'fusion' aficianado, I choose to believe that Miles, Pat, et al would more accurately classify this as 'fission' due to the explosive messy residue it produces.

  • @idymface lets coin a new genre called 'fucking awesome'

  • I don't think there's a single band with as much raw talent as these guys. Especially this drummer. Holy crap...

  • This is the reason I started to learn jazz.

  • Well guys this video proves that Candyrat only signs superhuman races of aliens.

  • @skykid c-anunaki-rat records (anyone familiar with the paleo astronaut theory will get that joke) also theres no way in hell craig d'andrea is human

  • they need to tour w some one fucking massive, like elton john. they deserve fame, but look at these low views.

  • Saw these guys at their DVD shoot, they were amazing. Really great lyrics to match the songwriting.

  • this song was the song the devirginalized me to RoK. I was instantly hooked!

  • i've watched 4 videos of these guys AND THEY JUST KEEP ADDING BAND MEMBERS

  • @MrCragy They have different uses for different instruments in each song, so they have cameo musicians in certain songs. Overall, you get the core people (piano guitar, vocal, drums, bass)

  • 19 PEOPLE LIKE REGGUETON....

  • Needs more cowbell.

  • i think i need a cig after this .....yeah that good

  • OH MY GOD!

  • So how come EVERYBODY doesn't know about these guys? Crossing quite a few genres with their music.

  • 4:10 "Alright Timbales man, Go OFF!"

  • Best band ever! So original, we were in need of a band like this

  • Man I've had this video on repeat for the last week. I can't get enough!

  • IMPRESIONANTES!!!

  • i miss kelly.

  • I love the little smile Steve has on his face when he successfully completes the intro :)

    "Phew..."

  • How exactly does Bieber get brought up HERE? Good lord...

  • all of your comments are worthless: this is the best band in the world,

and if there are other bands in others planets; this is the best band in the universe.

    -g

  • great!

  • god, i miss kelly so much!

  • 1:28 the bassist is really into it too.

  • The vocals at the beginning with the major drumming just tell you the whole song is going to be awesome.....

  • when the term "making love" was coined, this is what that guy was listening to. im sure of it

  • i just craped my pants

  • monster track! jajaja

  • Needs more cowbell!

  • @HelloScarecrow No it doesn't. It's perfect. Gene Simmons has no say in this.

  • ive finally found a new band to obsess over.

  • Oh my God, the hi-hat made me soil myself.

  • It's like... Jeff Buckley and Dave Matthews Band, with a little pinch of Jethro Tull and The Eagles, and a little Santana +++ :D

  • This is my favourite RoK song for sure!

    Just fantastic....

  • Awesome Hotel California tribute at 2:32. Yeah!!

  • @thebarzangi I was thinking The Eagles on some parts of this song too

  • Yes.

  • IM ON SHROOMS RIGHT NOW AND HOLY SHIT THIS BAND IS SO GOOD I CANT HANDLE IT!!!!

  • Small kit, great drumming.

  • @froggytmf it's great when you see a great drummer work with a small kit, because they utilize it so well.

  • 20 people just have a different taste in music. Can't people just accept the fact, and enjoy the music that they like? (:

  • @elreffe thats what im sayin.

  • awesome!!!!!!!!

    Great band!

  • I have head phones on and the hi-hat freaked me out in the beginning

  • Voice-wise: Jamie Cullum meets Brandon Boyd!

  • Damn, now we have to wait till 13,337

  • Aww I just fucked up 1337 status. dammit.

  • 2 more likes to 1337 status

  • Drummer is amazing... but let's not forget about those latin percussionists! they're doing a phenomenal job as well!

  • @tambourDOM amen dude steve padin is an incredible drummer, and the studio musicians aren't too shabby either.

  • @idymface they're an amazing band. simply leave it at that.

  • i think guys who listens to this will also like the japanese band, Toe!

  • Wow! It never ceases to amuse me when I put on a pair of nice cans on a new listener and they simply gasp at the masterful playing of these soon to be greats. THIS is music!

  • Wow these guys are nothing short of great. as fans we should help get there music out to more people. do like i do plaster your facebook with there videos , i'm from Cape Breton Canada and no one here heard of The Reign of Kindo ,but beleive me they here of them now thanks to facebook. Thank's B Penney.

  • @mingo7777 - I agree with you. We, fans, should help as much as possible. =D The more people know them and like them, bigger the chance of they going out on a tour.

  • these guys are too good to be popular. just like mutemath

  • They need to work on marketing themselves more, and for christ sakes come to the west coast and put on some shows. This band is incredibly talented and I wish the best for them and years of success!

  • 2:00 - 2:05

    ORGASM IN MY EARS x]

  • Incredible drumming

  • A band can't get any better than this. Thank you for making unbelievable music for my ears.

  • How can a Band play so completely flawless?!?!?!

  • Probably the most talented Band!

  • AMAZING. Beautiful piano too! I like all the tons of influences in there!

  • flawless drum tone

  • FRESH SOUND! Thank you for not sounding like every other band out there! This song, in particular, has such an original vibe - with hints of, maybe, Santana (?) moving in and out of it. Thanks for not whining, for not going on and on about how bad your love life is, for not being just another angry young band. You guys have something powerful and positive to add to the music world. I'm spreading the word!

  • Amazing band! I love all of his albums! One of the best in modern rock/pop...ets...

  • Im going to say something blasphemic now... behold

Reign of Kindo is 3 x better then Muse and Maroon 5 and Coldplay

This comes from a Muse Fan

  • @Zappafan1980 They're much better than Muse; these guys are nearest to perfection

  • THIS ONE IS SO SEXY!

  • If God, Allah, Shiva, or any other godly creature was a musician, he or she would still be shit compared to these guys.

  • 3:09 and on is epic!

  • I wish their albums will be a lot easier to find and purchase. This band has amazing talented individuals and I wish the most success for them.

  • this is true musicianship

  • That drummer is so deep in the pocket, he's swimming in lint.

  • @thebarzangi Haha. NO KIDDING. He's a freak of nature. lol

  • 2:50-2:56 So good!

  • I bet these guys are awesome live.

  • what's the thing the fuitarist with the black guitar is holding with his right hand in the beginning of the clip ??

  • @meknassi666 It's a ebow. It uses magnetic waves to move the strings.

  • @meknassi666 It's an ebow (electric bow). It causes the strings to continuously vibrate like the bow of a violin. They're a lot of fun.

  • @meknassi666 an Ebow.

  • what's the thing the guitarist with the black guitar is holding with his right hand in the beginning ??

  • Talent that oozes...

    frack these guys are decent

  • So impressive...Its about time bands come out with TRUE talent.

  • just great!

  • intro is right on! :D as well as the rest of the song. ha

  • All the way through this I was wondering if the drummer was Mike Hranica

  • @CrownTheTheif Haha he does look like him!!!....Devil wears prada! Rocks!

  • Love the vocals on the intro. But on the album its 3 part and only 2 in the video.

  • i´d like to have the lyrics! can anyone tell me where to find them?

  • @MoqLiix3 The internet.

  • @Foodie Less is more in a song that is clearly striving for a Latin/Polyrhythm feel? Are you kidding? Go listen to any of their slower songs and tell me the drummer is "annoying." The structure of this song called for blistering pace, and the drummer gave it, and gave it damn well.

  • @Pre1321 Nice reply to Foodie. But maybe if we ignore retards like him they'll just go away. Then again, some things need to be said.

  • 18 justin bieber fans

  • God what an irritating drummer these guys have. Good that you know all the tricks but less is more. The overdone hihat/rimclick rhythm is driving me mad!

  • @Foodie88 your trolling is well done I will give you that, but when you do it on every TROK video it's more hurtful than my dads fist, please stop it

  • @lrb1692 Dude, it's not trolling. I'm not gonna spam every video. I will stop complaining but I just wanted to say what thouht about it.

  • @Foodie88 Fair enough mate, I'm probably happier you're not trolling I just assumed from the general consensus that everyone loves the drummer you were just having a go but yeah you're entitled to your own opinion.

  • @Foodie88 Once again, I don't see where you getting this. His rhythm matches the song again in this one. And, anything might think is too much would probably be coming from the percussion end of it, not the drummer.

  • @leprekan987 You're probably right but still the combination of the latin rhythm with the percussion doesn't attract me that much, at least not in this song.

  • @Foodie88 If you don't care for his part in this song, that's fine. In no way though is he an irritating drummer. If you listen to their other songs, he actually plays perfect parts for them. Some songs he plays very little because that's what the song calls for. I think you're in the minority as far as not liking what he's done here. I think it's genius. I'm sorry that you can't appreciate it, because this whole song is beautiful.

  • @Mikeyondadrums Dont get me wrong, I like the song, but to my ears there's just a little too much happening here, rhythm wise. It's probably not him, but the 2 percussionists rather. I love flowers by the moon tho, where there's a little less happening :) Do you know any other songs by TROK that are more like that?

  • @Foodie88 I understand, Foodie. There are some Kindo songs I love, then there are some I think are just OK. Best way to find is to dig. When you find a gold nugget yourself, it's a great feeling. That's what we love about Kindo. They have something for everyone. But I'll give you a little help. Try 2 songs that should be on the right of this page, Moments In Between, and Let it Go.

  • crap..where have you guys been? You have a great sound!!

  • Mr. Sciandra, I adore your piano skills.

  • good job, guys!

    amazing!

  • omfg i just died

  • PERFECT...

  • /watch?v=bOS4tpGthG8

  • 17 people have cancer in their ears

  • @andres00004 LMFAO!! hahahaa I agree with you.

  • @andres00004 LOLOL nice comparison.

  • @andres00004 ear cancer is serious. symptoms include bieber appreciation.

  • @domdom87 xD <3

  • @domdom87 I agree, but bieber does have a pretty good voice, anyone who knows singing can tell you that. I hate his producers though.

  • @Rollz420 ur absolutely right. i was commenting more on his music rather than his talent. the kid can sing for sure, its a shame what the record label did to him. people should be hating his label/producer/manager, not him for making crappy music.

  • @domdom87 - LMAO! *bow*

  • @andres00004 dude that´s not funny at all... I know a musician who suffered cancer induced hearing loss.

  • @BurninAss Oh pleeeeze, lighten up! People need to stop being so darn sensitive. Shame when someone we know suffers, but who cares when people say stuff? Laugh if you think it's funny and ignore it if you think it's not.

  • @malikamakamuki ("You can´t change the world if you´re ignorant and shut up": anonymous)

if you understand: I love southpark ;)

I reacted like that because that guy used cancer to improve an old simple low level gag à la "17 people clicked the wrong button". He propably thought that would make him funny.*facepalm

propably some douche will comment on us like "arguing on the internet is like special olympics, even if you win you´re retarded". That´s like a reaction of unimaginative politicians.

  • @andres00004 thats 19

  • that drummer is fucking incredible

  • ive never seen so much talent in one room..

  • Awesome track! Anyone know what make of custom drums those are?

  • @IWillDrumForFood

I think they're SJC. If not, Truth. But I'm pretty sure he said his kit is SJC

  • @AspireAndInspire They were custom made for Steve by a company outside of Buffalo, NY called Kent Custom Drums, not to be confused with the old "Kent" brand

  • @IWillDrumForFood steve uses Kent Custom drums. theyre a company based out of new york.

  • the entrance at 2:50 is simply incredible

  • excellent song

  • Bass guitarist look like Erin from Fast Forward ????

  • actually the most jazz musicians plays for candyrat i have founded too many of my favorite muscisians in there!!!

  • that song is just awesome! I love the small part at 2:00 , it makes me smile all the time! In addition the drummer is insane and the singer has one of the most beautiful voices i've ever heard.

  • that drummer is insane !!!! awesome band great cover Jazz/Rock/Latin fusion style ....GREAT i hope to be in candyrat records some day !!!!

  • WHY IS THIS SO NICE?!?!?!?!?!

  • more i hear this guys more i like them....

i like all their sonngs, and thsts very difficult

  • Such an amazing band, definitely one of my favorites of all time. It sucks so bad that Kelly (The pianist) left the band though.. Either way I'm ridiculously excited to hear there new album, august 3rd come faster already!

  • I'm atheist, but If this is what christianity is able to give you musically I'll enter convent! AWESOME!

  • @spawnofpossession88 On their album Rhythm, Chord, and Melody they acknowledge God as the ultimate source of their talents

  • the extremely low amount of views blows my mind. these guys deserve fame.

  • @KnoffMan fame is the affliction. Vibration is the cure. Most musicians just want to make a living. Do you really want someone recognising you and not knowing if they take an autograph book or a gun out of their pockets?

  • @stargate669 yes. if they didn't want recognition they would leak these songs to their friends and never sell it. however they're on a record label and sell albums and tour. why wouldn't they want recognition... that being said. you're weird.

  • @KnoffMan Are you kidding? They don't sing about nearly enough sex, drugs, and money to be famous. They also lack auto-tune on the vocals.
