This investigation is embarrassing as if the city needed any more negative press. We got 3-5 murders a week and a multi million dollar drug market and the state is trying to fry the mayor over some toy discounts.

I hope so too. Politics in this city is as rough as the killers. Not to say politicians, but the politics that goes on between the police, the state prosecution, and the governing body. Former police commissioner Ed Norris said that never has he been anywhere where people are so out to get each other than in Baltimore. I love my city with a passion, but this place is a bushel of crabs waiting to pull down the the next one to get to the top. Public servicemen go like green lights here.
