  • hey pete wasr romanian or zastava serbia $569 $459

  • pete y does george clooney an obama an pitt get man of the year wen it should clearly go to u lol and no im nota fukin homo i just give credit where credit is due.lmfbo

  • While the Chinese guns are blued, they rust like Chinese nails in the jungle. They are rust buckets in the field. Best finish for countering rust is parkerized with Cerakote on top of that.

The under-folder stock is a direct copy of the MP38/MP40 9mm German SMG. It was meant for Soviet Airborne troops jumping weapons exposed. It is probably the worst stock/weapon mating of all the assault rifles.

WASR's are absolute garbage. Shoot one in high volume and you will see. They blow.

  • @LRRPFco52 i have a very reliable chinaman ak and i have to disagree i think its like a car sometimes u geta lemon no wat im sayin. but im lookin for some advice on an affordable good running ak any suggestions?

  • i have a romanian ak 47 parts kit. im wondering if the ak kits are as good as any russian, arsenal, or polish if built right. can you give me a little input on that. thank you

  • @PyroDragonOfDeath Romanian AK's are garbage. Russian, Bulgarian, Yugoslavian, Egyptian, Central Asian, Chinese, & Middle Eastern AK's have given me a lot of problems. Polish & East German have been better. The Valmets and Sako's are in a league of their own. The Israeli Galil is a copy of the Valmet Rk62, and the Israelis dumped them on the foreign military sales market.

  • Yugo's are going for 800-1000$... WASR 500$ I wish I did have an extra 500 dollars but I must be one of the cheap ones.

  • Have **

  • if the wasr is crap why do you ha e one? I'm confused

  • i perfer my wasr 10/63 to my aresonal.

  • Living in the shit state of California, my choices for an AK is very limited. Do you have any advice on which ca legal ak would be best?

  • @markd0tcom Freinds don't let friends buy AK's. Get something else, or move. I did...I'll never live in PRC again.

  • Comment removed

  • I only got a WASR because it's the only AK legal to own in MA. I know AK's and I know better... But I have no choice. I picked the best an spent a year strengthening and improving it. It's pretty flawless and works 100%. Grateful I can have at least that one. Bought two. One for use and one (the improved one) with only testing use (for longevity).

  • perfect vid guy. i have an ar15 and its a great long distance gun but i decided to get a gun with more knock down power and reliability. so of course i want an ak i think i will get a yugo but my question is it good at exepting heavy customization such as a front tac. rail gaurd new stock scope mount etc. and also will it exept a silencer my ar has one & i love it.great review.

  • Nah we loved it

  • Chinese AK's and dishes are off the chart...LOL!

  • arsenal sgl21

  • Mine more than likely has 8,000 or so im just not sure so I just ball parked 1,000 a year on my estimate. They will most certainly spit out the rounds, that's for sure.

  • my wasr has ten hundred thousand rounds through it!

  • I have a wasr 10 and it has treated me well.(not saying its better or even close to others in quality) I bought it 7 years ago and instantly began a lengthy test. I decided not to clean it for 5 years, I had shot probably 5000+ rounds through the rifle by the end of this 5 year period. When I finally decided to clean the gun I had no trouble what so ever, no damage had been done to my surprise. I just thought I would put this up to go along with your dependability comment. GREAT VID!!!

  • Why have WASR over Yugo one? Simple... Yugo is not available everyone at USA. Some people dont have 100 more dollars to spend on it. Some people wants some thing he can trash and not care.

  • fuckin fruit rings haha....love ur vids man keep it up! nuttnFAGGY aint got shit on u!

  • @theARMORYchannel Does magazine wobble affect feeding or carry a risk of the magazine falling out of the rifle?

  • ok you got me ill subscribe.... it was the snakes ass comment lol, keep up the good videos and dont stop being urself... to many try to be family crap or unoffensive

  • buddy of mine bought a romanian WASR at a pawn shop few months ago for 600 or 650. i was like...dude really lol

  • the black one for urban and the orange for desert

  • i have my romanian on my lap now :)

  • @RealSpillTV1 Romanian = GARBAGE!

  • @502dandaman No actually they have really stepped their game wayyyy up. I found all the "online rumors" of things wrong with romanians to be FALSE ! plus for the money i had i was happy to get such quality !

  • Polly teck is my favorite

  • @Mrcoolyouso u mean poly tech

  • btw good ideah on the tin foil!!!

  • is the 62 trigger different from the g2?

  • Thanks for yet another great informative video.

  • Why would you consider an Arsenal over a Romanian? Don't you know that Arsenal's are basically commercial grade, accurate, saiga made hunting rifles? The only thing Arsenal does is just put new furniture on it and move the trigger.

The solid fit of the arsenal is no good. Makes it more accurate, but less reliable.

  • MAN I can listen to you talk alll day. Hilarious lol.

  • HAHAHHAHAH I have thousand dollar guns and I have to eat Fruit Rings! Holly shit was GREAT! lol

  • that arsenal is the closest thing to an AK103, for sure.

  • the all black one is a beauty <3

  • @gustoo13 both black ones

  • which one is which?

  • @Quasarnugz o.... okay. Just wanted to make sure i was doing better than a WASR.... thanks!

  • Hey man, thanks.

  • I agree about them I bought a MAK 90 a week ago and will be getting a Polish under folder tomorrow

  • Do you have any opinion on the Saiga Izhmash ak 47? i know its a cheaper ak but its suppose to be very well built and comes from the "true" ak factory...

  • what do you think of m10-762?

  • Good vid for newbies! I would add how most Yugos are "pieced together" with non-matching, serial numbered parts. (Made from parts kits.) WASR 10's can be great if you know what to look for when you're buying one. Alot of these were "Clinton" rifles and you will probably need to dremel the mag well to accept all mags. I have an Arsenal SLR-95 that I wish I'd bought 10 of back in the day. So anybody running across one of those at a good price..jump on it. Also love the Hungarian AMD-65 variant.

  • I have a Norinco Chinese Mak-90.......i love mine

  • I bought a wasr. Why, because any rifle is better then no rifle. would I like to have an Arsenal. I would love one, but I can't afford one

  • @pigwigpa When I picked up my WASR, I oiled her up good and worked the action repeatedly while watching t.v. Now she's "smooth as balls". Got rid of the crappy wood and replaced with Tapco furniture and a Romanian side folding wire stock. Also added a slant muzzle brake. She looks good and shoots good. (Bump fires like a beast!) I initially had low expectations for this gun, 1000's of rounds later, I love this rifle. I did dremel my mag well so every type mag will work. Even 75 rnd. drums.

  • @pigwigpa I oiled up my WASR real good & worked the action repeatedly so she's "smooth as balls". Got rid of the wood and replaced with Tapco furniture. Added a Romy side folding wire stock & a slant muzzle brake. 1000's of rounds later, I still don't regret picking her up. Bump fires like a champ, looks good, shoots good. I did dremel my mag well to accept all AK mags and drums. :-)

  • @Kalishfreak My wasr never gave me trouble. Do I like, yes. Do I love, still yes. Is a super high quality, no, but the fuck ups can be fixed. I kept the wood and refinished. Add the 74 muzzle brake and recoil pad. To this day I never had a falure to feed or to fire. As bad as everyone makes out the wasrs' to be. It's still a better field weapon then the best AR

  • get a chinese type 56

  • what about a norinco

  • i only had $450 so i bought a WASR-10 today and it seems to be a simple,functional AK.

  • I wouldn't recommend an Arsenal since they're just bored out 74's and they're built way too tight, killing the point of an AK platform.

  • "I want the action to feel smooth as balls, and balls are smooth." - HAHA Fucking hilarious!

  • "tighter than a snakes ass" lmaoo!

  • pet i would chose between the arsenal and the polytec , but thats a hard pick, i think id go with th arsenal tho

  • i see wasrs alll over and i want one but i tell myself dont buy sketchy guns so i got me a saiga for 399

  • I wish the atf wouldnt have to convert the rifles to semi. If they didnt the rifles would be even cheaper.

  • none of the ak's are very accurate at all and you said they would both be very accurate...DISLIKE

  • @TYLERSHORTY13 Depends who shooting it. They are accurate enough to hit a man so whats the problem.

  • @TYLERSHORTY13 you just suck at shooting.

  • i recomennd the ak-ms(center) foldable stock lighter

  • @Pipicification Many AK experts prefer the Izhmash-Russian made AKs.

  • Great guns, looks like a great work shop, you seem to know what you are talking about, but your color commentary is totally ruining this video.

  • the 74

  • God Pete You Bore the Fuck Outta me ..LOL JUST KIDDING BUDDY I CANT GET ENUFF OF THE HOW TO VIDS GREAT FOR THE BEGINNER TO MID ADVANCED BUYERS AND COLLECTORS ...COME ON BUDDY SOME FIRING VIDEOS ..PS How the hell have you been buddy its been a wile since i gave a shout out ur way hope ur doing good .. im going to go clean some of my rifles i watch one of ur dame videos and it makes me want to CLEAN MY RIFLES AND AJUST THINGS AND PLAY IN MY ARMORY LOL BUT SINCE WHEN WAS THAT A BAD THING

  • Nice AK's. yeah, i have a wasr, i hear what your saying. But DUDE, where did you get that sweetass wooden tool box?!

  • @dkngLA ! This Saiga / Izhmash AK was converted by ClassicFirearms com . Classic has the best prices on the planet.

  • i want an ARSENAL :D haha

  • I think I'm getting a Yugo, very helpful video!

  • @theARMORYchannel i belive you may have misread a g , for a 6.

to my knowledge there is a tapco G2 but not a 62 trigger system. by the way i was curious if you would know about saigas in this calibur. i converted/built mine myself and it is nicer than a wasr or most surplus mil/ or average ak. i belive arsenal uses saigas so i think i have a high quality ak since i converted it right and used alot of high end tactical parts.

  • @Pipicification nah. i got a marlin model 60 .22, a colt 6520 ar15 which i love!!!!!! and a llama 9mm pistol. i just want something to keep the "miles off" my colt. it only has 36 rounds thru it, so i want another high caliber rifle to have some fun with. plus i want to "tacticool" one and leave my colt as a K.I.S.S. rifle.

  • @Pipicification ok. thnx. i saw them on gunbroker for like $900 and even more. i think ive settled on a dpms ar15 with some xtra goodies tho.

  • snake's ass - Got it

  • smooth balls - Got it

  • can anyine tell me where to buy a yugo!!?? i cant find them anywhere. have they stopped being made???!!!

  • @baracade777 Yes, go to classicfirearmsDOTcom and click the Semi-Auto Rifles tab. Scroll down - and just keep scrolling - till you reach the YUGOSLAVIAN M70-AK UNDERFOLD. Built on unissued surplus, w/ parkerized finish like was mentioned in the vid.

  • @runner316 thnx so much. i will try that. i live in their general area anyway.

  • @baracade777

its because everyone bought them all. yugos have stopped coming in...surplus parts kits have also stopped coming in. damn terrorists get all the guns.

  • @warriorofsteel01 yea lol.

  • @baracade777 You can find Yugos, Saiga, Izhmash, WASR and other at ClassicFirearms com check them out!

  • @Premiumdogg yea. i am kinda lookin at a dpms ar15 to tacticool. whould i do that or buy an ak. i alredy have a K.I.S.S. colt ar15.

  • Comment removed

  • I noticed that you have muzzle brakes on 2 of your AKs. Why not on the Polytech?

  • what about a kalashnikov is that a good brand?? of ak or a nornico is that a good one

  • You saved me from getting a WASR. Thanks!

  • ! Why have you not reviewed the Saiga AK47 which is manufactured at Iizhmash in Russia? Most knowledge folks would have used a Saiga for comparison.

And what the heck is "tin foil"? Are you referring to Aluminum foil??

  • ! Why have you not reviewed the Saiga AK47 which is manufactured at Iizhmash in Russia? Most knowledge folks would have used a Saiga for comparison.

  • @Premiumdogg The SGL-20 is a coverted Saiga by Arsenal.

  • 18:40 Yep I'm the same way Pete I wish I didn't care about looks quite so much. I fucked up more shit trying to make it perfect than If I had not been so anal. I duno man.

  • Pete, If Yugo AK and Arsenal SGL-21 were the same price, wich one would you pick? Im having a hard time to pick one for about the same price..the only thing I dont like about Yugo is that they dont have chrome line barrels.

  • WASR was in my sights, not any more. Great info, appreciate it. Slow down on them fruit rings.

  • ak74,74,74,74,74,74,74,74, like you said after many gun and much moneys loses, Ive found the one for me ;)

  • Hey "The Armory Channel"

where did you get your Yugo underfolder

  • what ak is best for a starter??

  • Hey, QUESTION??? What do people in CHINA.....call their good dishes??? LOL:)

  • Arsenal the best? Guess you never owned a polytech. I own both a WASR and a Poly, both have 10K+ down range and both are in great shape. Key points 1) Take care of your stuff. 2) Make certain it runs when you buy it.

  • Great video still living with my MAK-90'S but want to move up to a AK-47 prob a folder! And your correct look at the old M1 Garand and it's service life spend a little more money and get a rifle that's going to last!

  • Sweet vids, got my Yugo AB2 4 weeks ago, not sure if it was "new" but it has a great finish. The furniture gaps wont line up it pisses me off. The receiver cover erupted in my fukin face my first shot, the trigger group came apart . The old man at the gunshop, is a fucktard..after hours of his work, put my 1st round and again, fell apart. A cop fixed it for me in 10 minutes. Now I have 400 rds thru it and love it, hate the sights, furniture, and blue shit leaking from the barrel.

  • I have two WASRs and an Arsenal SGL-31 and love them all. WASRs are fine as long as you inspect them and pick out a good one. I repainted my one WASR and stained/polyurethaned the furniture, added Ultimak rail with co-witness red dot, Tapco trigger, buffer, and retention plate. That rifle is amazing now. Don't pass on a WASR guys, just don't buy the first one you see. Happy shooting!

  • @5Marksman5 get a job girl.

  • @5Marksman5 I got one with 3,000 rds thru it with no problems and shoots at least 6moa with any kind of ammo, but shoots around 2.5moa with my favorite ammo.. You just got to know what to look for (action, trigger, springs, canted sights etc)..my finish is ugly tho, but hey, its a gun. Not a model. AKs was designed to be cheap,.I wouldnt trade my WASR for nothing..sure Id love to have an arsenal, or yugo...and I hope to get one one day, but IM not trading my wasr for it.

  • would have been a great video--- but the person speaking is really ..... fill in the blank. And nice well spoken is not the anwser.

  • Great video. Am partial to the Chinese pre-bans and Bulgarian rifles. Yugo's bore is dark and not chromed, but still a great AK. Chinese (some) can have a spring loaded firing pin that is meant to prevent double taps and cannot be bump fired. Bought the Bulgarian SA-93 when if first came out and still have it. Great milled rifle. Romainian AKs...bah humbug!

  • so no wasr 10

  • I'm surprised you picked the chinese sights. I thought Yugos have better sights because its the only one with integrated night sights - not to mention the grenade sights.

  • Nothing beats a well converted attention to detailed Saiga. Even better than an Arsenal, since you are the one in control of how its made.

  • i like the centurion 39. american made , milled receiver , chrome lined and has windage adjustment on the rear sight. i agree about the wasr. fun gun and maybe one to get to get a feel for the ak platform but not the best made. thanks for the vid

  • great vid... I've been debating on which ak to go with for quite some time... though the WASR was never a candidate... I thought I had settled on the Arsenal, but now you've got me leaning toward that sexy little Yugoslavian number in the middle. I love the underfolder design- I was not aware that there were any decent underfolders on the American market- again, great vid!!!

  • what a very knowledgeable gunsmith told me was all ak-47s are good ak-47s but as far as quality goes just look at the material thickness. thick as a dime low grade, thick as a nickel medium grade and thick as a quarter high grade. as far as the fit and finish that can all me made to your likings

  • @IMKINDOFABIGDEAL13 Nickels are thicker than quarters so that analogy doesn't make sense....

  • @pac6010 YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN YA DILO. I MIXED THEM UP

  • @IMKINDOFABIGDEAL13 No actually I didn't know that till you just said it lol. You know that shit didn't make no kinda sense.

  • Balls are smooth! lol

  • also, all those old soviet ak-47's werent milled it was all stamped sheet metal and i havent heard anything bad about their reliability, although most people that have them don't have the internet

  • @falloutforever88 Actually, only the very first AK-47s had a stamped receivers, the Soviets moved to milled receivers because it was easier to mass produce, it wasn't until the AKM that stamped receivers were re-introduced to the Kalashnikov family of assault rifles...

  • @Sporora Yeah I know, I was waiting to be corrected about that for a while. I'm a AR-15 guy I don't know that much about the Kalashnikov family asides from the basics of the design I never took the time to learn about it's history as much as i did for the M-16's. Do you know why it was cheaper to mill them? I had assumed stamping would have been more cost effective.

  • @falloutforever88 The two rails at the top of the receiver (where the bolt rides on) had to (at first) be welded onto the stamped receivers, but the turn down rate of rifles coming out of the factories was very high, because of primitive manufacturing techniques (bad welds and such) that it was easier to use milled receivers until a dependable process of having those rails on stamped receivers came about with the introduction of the AKM.

  • i want a wasr if i wanted to spend more i wouldn't get an ak in the first place

  • @falloutforever88 What else of that level could you buy for less than 550? An Ar15? Not a chance.

  • i agree with you about the scopes on the ak's. i got a saiga, bought the scope mount, scope and all said and done, i don't want it on there anymore! but i will switch out the leaf sight and get glow in the dark "night sights" for it.

  • as long as it gets the job done

  • I used your attention span nat line in my last vid....great line

  • trigger slap = fixable wobbly mag = fixable.. the parkerized finish sucks, an ak is an ak why would you spend over $1000, buy a wasr-10, its a great gun doesn't have dimples on sides, makes it look better more original less modern. Long term quality? you can hammer the ak barrel and bend it and it will still fire. It is not an AR, an AK47 is a tank, made for abuse and rough conditions. Why buy it as a trophy?

  • is there a yugo with a fixed stock?

  • HEY! The WASR is for the broke college guy!

    I hate being that guy...

  • @HammeredAndHorny no the mosin is for the broke college guy which is actualy me XD

  • @darktrooper4 Lol, you're right. The Mosin is the perfect broke guy gun.

  • @HammeredAndHorny its not a bad gun im actualy excited to get a mosin. i saw a guy making 1000 yard shots with it. if you dont believe me i can try to find the video of it. you just have to find a mosin in good condition. but hey the guns for 100 dollars cant really beat that for a good rifle

  • @darktrooper4 I'm well aware of what a Mosin can do in the hands of a semi-decent shooter. $100 for a rifle with that much power and function for $100 makes me want to pick one up every time I see one. One of my favorite guns, just because of how cheap it is to buy and shoot.

  • My WASR has TEN HUNDRED THOUSAND ROUNDS THROUGH IT!!!!!!!

  • LOL, the Chinese make great AK's and dishes

  • i don't think it's fair to talk trash about the WASR-10's. Pete bought two of them. Now, that he can afford to spend more money on more expensive AK's, don't forget where you came from. It's kind of contradicting.

  • @mpc4000king ..yeah, kind of agree, but his channel. Rather have the WASR-10 if it was in GOOD condition like the one I had, accurate, no mag wobble, matcing #'s, hammer-forged chrome lined bbl, I'd take it over the Yugo. The 'feature' of the top cover retainer is 'cool', but growing up on AK's I don't give it any extra point's. And the Norinco/chinese should be the smoothest, it's used, and the Arsenal and the Yugo need to be broken in. Rewatching AK-vid's till my SGL 21-71 arrives (AK-fever!).

  • same way bout them mags

  • Ok you've sold me. I bought a wasr just because it was what I could afford and was availible. Had to use layaway to get it... Anywho it's my baby and I love it, mainly cause at the time I hated modern looking tactical looking AK's, at the time I thought only AK style rifles with wood looked good. But you've sold my on that yugo underfolder, I want one now.

Plus that cover just went on so damn easy. And that damn hammer catching on the bolt making the action sticky on the wasr's is sickening.

  • I bought a Norinco MAK 90 back in 1991 for $395.00. swapped out the furniture for Tapco Dragunov Style furniture. I have the milled sported version. Great little shooter. Never jammed.

  • Lol man i love your attitude towards neets xD

  • FRUIT RINGs OH CRAP LOL!!

  • keep the furniture tighter than a snakes assLOL!!!

  • An AK sitting next to my AR would be a God damn beautiful sight

  • SGL!!!

  • how has the finish held up for you on the arsenal?

  • you should shoot the box of fruit rings, but keep it around to show on camera from time to time

  • Off the hook great video.

  • Thanks for the "welcome to gun collecting." I'm a new collector and my bank account reflects that fact :\

  • For people who say the wasr is shity or anything like that millerusaf was shooting his at 400 meters and was hitting the target. /watch?v=zPGQ34_Afxo

  • i plan on gettin a wasr just to see if i like the ak platform. then if i do ill get an arsenal sgl 21.

  • great video man

  • ''fucking fruit rings'''''''' ,,,, lmfao

  • Comment removed

  • Buy a Norinco 56S. One sold on NC Armslist for $1000 within the last month or so.

  • So what do u think about the Century Arms Int, GP1975? Honest opinion!

  • I have to agree that the WASR-10 is not in the same league as other AK's, and I own one and even though it doesnt have mag wobble, no canted sights, etc. I only bought it cause I paid the price they SHOULD be(only $200, they charge WAY TOO MUCH now), I got LUCKY! That's the MAIN PROBLEM I see with them, you can comfortably order an Arsenal online and KNOW when it get's here, it'll be straight or it'll be fixed by Arsenal, WASRs are a roll of the dice. I'll be picking up an Arsenal soon!

  • how much was the polytech?

  • im about to start shopping for an AK Variant, and iv narrowed it down to either a Arsenal SGL21 or a Polish Milled AK from atlantic arms? any advice? or insight?

  • @songmanslim SGL21. The SGL is a new rifle with a state arms factory produced receiver expertly de-banned after importation. The Polish rifle is made from a parts kit with somewhere between 0 and 10,000+ rounds through it, who knows? Yeah, I know, this is where somebody will say milled receivers are the greatest thing since sliced bread. If that's true why did the Soviets dump them after only a few years and why does virtually every mil spec production AK use a stamped receiver?

  • @steve001968 I didnt know that about milled AK's up untill this point i heard milled AK's were far superior to stamped recievers, but im an AR guy so i never researched the AK platform to in depth untill now appreciate the insight. Its very appreciated God Bless America. keep up the vids I like your style. Its hard to sore with the eagles when you surrounded by turkeys. haha

  • @songmanslim "I didnt know that about milled AK's up untill this point i heard milled AK's were far superior to stamped recievers" Milled receiver AK's have a higher perceived value to individual buyers at least on the American market. Judging from the fact that the vast majority of foreign state arms factory production over the past 60+ years are stamped receivers it's not an opinion shared by most governments.
