  • love it

  • i really enjoy your motherland song..thanks for singing your own cultural song.....

  • "Holy Incense" This is a beautiful song by Puba Jia and Sa Ding Ding. It's got a very calming effect on me.

  • This song actually makes me accept everyone, I have never felt so happy on earth, Jesus, Guan Yin, Tibetans, Chinese, White, Black,..why I see everyone so beautiful.

  • I love this song, I love Guan Yin, and Tibetans. His song made me love everyone, feel so close to everyone, feel heavenly sweet.

  • Lhakylou..buddhism is all abt love. i don't see anything wrong in this video but then we all think differently and some are more tolerant than others ahem ahem

  • happy new year pubajia

  • Tibetan music must survive not just on the stage but also on the streets and homes as was in thew olden times.

  • An outsider's view: Cultural Genocide? Then why is he singing in Tibetan with dancers in Tibetan costumes & with Tibetan subtitles on the screen? I am not a Buddhist, but I know Om Mani Pa Me Hum is a Buddhist chant. Keep telling lies will soon lose support from foreign sympathizers. Many human rights groups will be disappointed not being to see what they wished to see. Then - denial: "Oh, this is a propaganda." Thou shall not lie & ill-speech will bear rotten fruit.

  • Please allow all viewers enjoy Tibetan music and understand more about Tibet's rich and beautiful culture by reading the comments posted. Please don't use it as a political arena. It serves no purpose & nothing good will come out of it. Refrain from ill-speech so not to accumulate bad karma. Om Mani Padme Hum.

  • When you say the first syllable Om it is blessed to help you achieve perfection in the practice of generosity, Ma helps perfect the practice of pure ethics, and Ni helps achieve perfection in the practice of tolerance and patience. Pä, the fourth syllable, helps to achieve perfection of perseverance, Me helps achieve perfection in the practice of concentration, and the final sixth syllable Hum helps achieve perfection in the practice of wisdom.

  • Om Mani Padme Hum.

Please refrain from any negative comments, thank you.

By this merit may all attain omniscience,

May it defeat the enemy, wrongdoing,

Through the stormy waves of birth, old age, sickness and death,

From the ocean of samsara, may I free all beings.

By the confidence of the golden sun of the great east,

May the lotus garden of the Rigden's wisdom bloom.

May the dark ignorance of sentient beings be dispelled.

May all beings enjoy profound brilliant glory.

  • Om Mani Padme Hum" is the short mantra of Chenrezig. [Also known as Avalokiteshvara in India, as Kuan-yin in China, and as Kannon in Japan.]

Whenever we are compassionate, or feel altruistic love for anyone, for an animal or any part of the natural world, we experience a taste of our own Chenrezig nature. Buddhists believe that we all share the same innate mind-nature of unconditional compassion and wisdom.

  • The mantra Om Mani Padme Hum (literally: "Aum, to the Jewel in the Lotus, hum) is recited by Tibetan Buddhists to invoke Chenrezi, the Bodhisattva of Compassion. Repeating this mantra accumulates merit and eases negative karma; meditating upon it is believed to purify the mind and body.

  • The Buddha teaches the Eight-Fold Path. One of them is Right Speech. Don't accumulate bad karma by cursing. That will not help in acquring the good karma that bears fruit to liberation. Convince others using Right Speech. Have we seen the Dalai Lama getting angry & swear & curse?

  • Cultural Genocide? Then why is he singing in Tibetan with dancers in Tibetan costumes & with Tibetan subtitles on the screen? I am not a Buddhist, but I know Om Mani Peme Hum is a Buddhist chant. Keep telling lies will soon lose support from foreign sympathizers. I'm know some chained dogs taking refuge in other's kennel will bark but they can't bite. Then they will resort to vulgarities & profanity - very UnBuddhist.

  • His looks are too perfect-almost female facial structure. I guess some like that sorta face huh? This song is particularly nice compared to some of his other Chinese or Tibetan songs, maybe because it surrounds the mantra itself-Om mani Paem Hung.

Wherever he is from whether Kham, Amdo and Autsang....he is Tibetan after all. And we should definitely call him by his real name Phurba Gyal...not Puba Jia (Chink's name for him)

  • HE IS A BEAUTIFUL PERSON. LOVE HIM

  • I dont think he is that great as compared to other great Tibetan singer like Kunga.

Nevertheless, I am proud of him.

    Bhoe-jyalo. Jame marbu, pangu, abay-ro.

  • ye! gyaro, pango, abay-ro, gyami tsangma shiwa shok!!

  • I love Pu Bajia. I voted for him when he won the title!

  • love his voice.

  • Does it really matter if he is Amdo or Kham? He is Tibetan and we don't hime. that's it. There many more young Tibetan musicians out there, but more famous because Chinese Propaganda. I don't now him as a person and I don't now what kind of Tibetan he is. That's what should be your question. Yes, he is from Amdo Ngawa, so?

  • the reason I am curious is because I do want to know a bit more about what sort of singer he is and if I know where he is from it becomes easier to cotnact him. But yes, in reality, it doesnt matter Amdo or Khampa. In order to find out what sort of person and singer he is, I want to speak to him. If i know where he is from its easier to contact him.

  • Hey what up Tibetlssra? Pu Bajia is not from Amdo he's from kham Gyarong evryone knows man you better be careful

  • really? See, most people tell me he's from Golok, a few are saying Ngaba and now you are saying Gyarong. I am SO CONFUSED!!! I know one other singer from Gyarong, Namkhatso. I want to contact Phurba Gyal. He's really a talented singer and actor

  • He's from gyalrong, now he lives in shanghai

  • That explains his accent :-) He's a mad good signer.

  • གཞས་འདི་སྙན་པོ་ཞེ་དྲག་འདུག

  • pu ba jia ur great

  • Who's pu ba jia?

  • Pu Bajia, actually Phurba Gyal, is a singer and actor from Amdo Golog. He won the Chinese equivalent of American idol ("My Hero" as its called there) this past year and starred in the movie "Prince of the Himalayas" which is a really great movie, telling the story of Hamlet in early Tibet. Rumor has it he studied in hollywood for a bit...not sure if thats true tho. I do know that he used the prize money from "My Hero" To take his family on pilgrimage to Lhasa.

  • phurpa kyab (ཕུར་པ་སྐྱབས་) he is not from amdo. he is from sichuan abba county. we tibetan call them (rgyal rongpa)

  • From Abba?? I was just there! So cool. It is Gyal tho...or at least according to the credits in Prince of Himalayas its rgyal.

  • I know about Phurba Gyal. I hate these Chinese slaughtering Tibetan names beyond recognition. I was trying to get on the nerve of Dorjelee above...an arch Chinese imperialist posing as a Tibetan

  • Ha,ha,ha...I like it. You are funny.

  • I love this song...

  • ༆ ཕུར་པ་སྐྱབས་ ལོ་གསར་ལ་བཀྲིས་བདེ་ལེགས་ཞུ།

  • Holy Incence (Lhapoe) Yagmo Dug. Thugje che.
