At least you're seeking knowledge about motors! 2 Stroke motors always have a wing-bing-ding high pitched fast revving sound. 4 strokes have a deep vroom-vroom sound, and do not rev up as fast as a 2 stroke. 2 strokes require oil mixed in the fuel for lubrication of the cylinders or it will seize up. 4 strokes even though they have more moving parts with valves, etc. are way less maintenance and do not require oil in the fuel so they do not smoke.
My first bike was a '74 TC100. Almost like this one. I love it, I miss it and wish we could still by REAL bikes like these.

@icemanbenito You need to learn a little about motors. The sound difference of a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke are like night and day.
