It is amazing that this song has been song by other choirs and singers and even used in movies like Secretariat to denote Christian values of determination and joy in face of trial. This hymn always makes my spirits soar, no matter how down I'm feeling. When I heard it in "Secretariat", I was immediately astonished and SOOOOO thankful they'd chosen the perfect music for such a gift of God in that magnificent creature that no one, save his owner, dear Mrs. Tweedy, had confidence in. Bless "Shorty" for being his lifelong best friend and caretaker. Such people are gifted in truly understanding and loving their charges.
