Always loved the tigermoth, This was like watching the real one fly! Beautiful job and the sound made this one of my all time favorite RC airplane video's! Thank you for sharing it with us!
you are very lucky to have a tiger moth like that i have a 1/7 scale lust like your's they are great plane's no matter what scale you fly very nice indeed.
The model is a scaled up version of Tony Clark plans. WS 460 cm, weight 46 kg. King 95ccm single syl petrol engine with gear 2,5:1, witch turn a 43X22 prop at 2400 rpm. low rpm is approx 550 rpm. Flys like a bus, with massive rudder work..Check out more videos of the model. Search for 1/2 Tiger Moth
Wow, that's some serious prop! You're getting some nice sound out of it. The prop sounds full scale probably because your keeping the RPM down to scale roation speeds. You're definitely getting the most out that 95cc motor! Great Scale Flyer!
I was about to say the same thing, the full sized Tiger Moth had dihedral on both upper and lower wings but more on the lower wings, this was increased on the prototype as the ailerons had initially snagged in long grass due to the sweep-back. Agreed though, a truly impressive model.
its like porn with wing struts...
