i think becuz there are alot more tournaments in the arcades compared to at certain venues where they use xbox and of course you can't use gouken in arcades. i guess people would rather play with some1 they can use at arcades and at home. abel is indeed bottom-tier but it just makes it all the more rewarding to win with him and in the end skill > tier, shiro seems to be proving that point alot recently.

Also, I love Abel's style too. I suck at Street Fighter anyway, and he's one of the tougher characters overall to learn, but dammit he is a whole lot of fun when you do. Shiro is my hero. ^_^
Hey Mirror i can do the FADC out of moves but can't combo into another move straight after it, the ultra ect. Any tips would be appreciated. I use an xbox controller btw if this makes a difference?!

感謝mirror大的介紹,也讓我成為鋼拳這兩面刃角色的愛用者.......有時,他會完全控制整場的tempo直到perfect victory,有時,則是防禦到死.....但是這角色的爽快度真的讓人愛不釋手呢....^o^

It is really Sad no one uses em in most tourneys
They should make an update or something to include them in the Arcades as well

How come no one uses Gouken in tournaments and stuff? I see Abel all the time, and he's supposed to be a bottom-tier character. What gives?

I use both Gouken and Abel so yeah...lol.
But you really don't see any of the console characters in Tournaments. It's not just Gouken that doesn't get love. :p

how do you follow up with the tatsumaki kicks? i did it but he only hits like 2 times

yes, only dash 1 time. just more practice and find the tempo.
but I suggest do Palm atfer a EX.
is more stable. and work for all character, also got quick recover to perpare next move.

FADC combo need work with Fireball, and you need do ↓HP in a short time, need practice.
FADC to a Ultra work when you do the EX Palm.
Tips..hm..focus in your character motion, and find the tempo, the controller is not the problem.
hope I answer the right question, I'm not sure what move you do FADC and what move you try to combo ^^;;
