I know this is old but... I do not think Sony had a choice. Square Enix owns Final Fantasy not Sony. Also Metal Gear Solid is coming to 360 (MGS4 was awesome on PS3). God of War is owned by Sony and that should stay exclusive. I may be a pro-360, but I am glad GoW3 is exclusive because Sony owns it.

I know this is old. But Metal Gear Solid 4 is awesome on PS3. Tekken 6 is multiplat... Metal Gear Solid: Rising is coming to Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. MGS4 is like amazing. A lot of people are excited for MGS Peace Walker but I am more excited for Rising cause its the next console MGS.

Well my friend if u live in the uk then go to blockbuster and get a xbox 360 for 150 pounds plus any free game under 25 ^^ or u could get ps3 but most of the games out on it are on xbox 360 except for some like metal gear solid, now the ps3 is for 300 pounds but sadly there arnt many good games out for it right now, all in all xbox 360 is for now and ps3 is maby for future, some say it will out preform 360 but thats just rumor, right now 360 and ps3 are par so I recommend 360 for now ^^

Man that's a shame. Blu-Ray discs can hold so much more information comared to DVD discs it's not even funny, and now they won't take advantage of that. I've lost a lot of respect for Square Enix. Guys im reading a live blog of the SE conference. They said its not multiplatform. Xbox360 Version will be made after the PS3 version is completed. Japan will get it first and than the localization process will begin for Europe and America. At that point they will begin making it for the Xbox360, in other words this is just an announcement, they havnt even BEGUN to make it on the 360. So no more problems related to if they will take full advantage of the PS3 hardware.

I wouldn't rule out the PS3 just yet, it also has COD4, DMC4 and loads of other cross platform titles... Plus with MGS4, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, Gran Turismo 5 and a miriad of other games, Sony is definitely catching up.

Also, with free online play, dedicated game servers, the new in game XMB plus Mouse & Keyboard support, PS3 is on top for the new FPS games that are comming.

Sony is no way 1st place in this "war", but I think 08 will definitely be the year of the PS3.

Ok the 360 has the PS3 beat when it comes to crappy sports and driving games, but PS3 has the RPG market all to themselves. Everyone I know hates Star Ocean and I haven't seen a single 4 out of 5 star RPG for the 360 yet. Resistance 2 is coming out in like 2 or 3 months, and Insomniac games have always been Sony exclusive so we're good there, and until it's announced otherwise, why shouldn't we assume Kingdom Hearts 3 will be PS3 exclusive? And we're getting Dark Cloud 3, another PS3 exclusive

No I didn't watch E3, I have a life. So I didn't see any list for this year's upcoming games, but I tell you what I have seen. The fact that the 360 is flooded with mediocre RPG's like Eternal Sonata and 3 out of 5 RPGs. I'll admit, the 360 might have more RPGs in quantitiy, but the PS3 still has it beat on quality. I will give you one thing though. Even the original X Box was true for this. If I was a big sports/FPS game fan I would have bought the 360. You guys do have that market.
