  • I'm more of a Christian than Chris! But when I spoke to him over the years he tells he still does believe in God! Many only get into the eastern philosophy jig for reasons of physical health!

  • I loved Chris in his few scenes as the faux-"Leif Erickson" character in "Frances". In fact, when I saw "DS" for the first time I *thought* Jeb looked awfully familiar... ;-)

  • Chris is a wonderful man. After the Dark Shadows thing he became a serious Tibetan Buddhist yogi, in Idyllwild, California. He comforted me during some of my hardest times.

  • @DivineFellowship He is absolutely a wonderful person. I've gotten to know him a little bit and he can make my day! I'm glad he has been there for you.

  • Great video....my oldest brother and Chris were friends many, many, many years ago in Philadelphia. They were schoolmates, I believe. Watching Dark Shadows as a small kid held a special meaning for me....

  • Hi Ectowle...thank you so much for taking time to comment! I'm glad you enjoyed this video! That is soooo cool that your brother was friends with Chris. Did you ever get to meet him? :)

  • @BaronVonBlixberg Hi, Good to hear from you. Love your site, BTW. Let's see, Jeff, my brother, was 14 years older than me. I would have been no more than 4 years old when he and Chris were friends. Jeff just passed away last August (I miss him as much as I think anyone could miss another human being) but I do recall asking him about Chris. He never forgot a time when they got into some schoolboy pranks that landed them in hot water with the authorities...In Friendship, I am Liz

  • Sebastian Shaw and each Gabriel that he played were my favorites. Cyrus was sweet; the makeup, however, was sub-par for his alter ego. I agree, hecate55, those two were destined to "rock this town" of Collinsport. Now, if The Stray Cats strolled into the Blue Whale... (Carolyn would be there in a heartbeat doing her wild and crazy dance!)

  • Wonderful dearie!

  • Aahhhh! Chris Pennock and James Storm were the rock and roll good/bad boys of Dark Shadows. Loved seeing those photos all over again! Love you girl! You rock too!!!

  • Hi Hecate55...you should see the big smile you just brought to my face. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me this kind comment! Rock on my friend! :)

  • Chris Pennock's portrayal of Jeb Hawkes was so convincing, I thought Pennock was an out of control wildman! I didn't like the "Jeckyll/Hyde" subplot in parallel time, but it had nothing to do with Pennock's portrayal. I thought the writers were getting desperate at that point. Loved the tribute Baron!
