note na foto da regulagem que apesar do delay estar com uma repetição curtíssima o volume do efeito está no máximo. É isso que cria essa textura. A ideia é explorar ao máximo este pedal, e em coisas menos óbvias também.

Não, é apenas o DD-3, um track apenas. O delay nessa música (assim como em muitas em que o delay é usado dessa forma) dá essa impressão.

No caso, enquanto a corda "D" está mantendo o baixo pedal, os acordes estão mudando e dando a sensação de continuidade por conta do delay.

Eu acho uma ótima pedida ter um delay analógico e outro digital no set, por enquanto conto apenas com o digital, pretendo adquirir um analógico tb.

I just unscrewed the bottom off my DD-3! wondering what version I have!! its a 1993 Version 2b with the big chip on the board :) im happy. I wouldn't mind owning a Boss DD-2 but their pricey now! they sound good

Em português:

na prática, o sinal digital é limpo, as repetições são exatas e sem mudança no timbre (quase sempre). O análogo, assim como os antigos delays de fita, vão perdendo definição a cada repetição, tem então uma degradação de sinal, deixando com outras características. Ambos os tipos de delay são ótimos e cada um tem sua aplicação.

Answer your question: no, I don´t use the effects loop, all my effects I plugged into front amp input, except my clean boost, because is a perfect volume boost without change the sound characteristics.

Boss DD-3 Delay / Boss BF-3 Flanger / MXR Phase 90 / TS-9 Ibanez / MXR Wylde Overdrive / Proco Rat 2 / ED-1 Compressor Marshall / Baby Booster (clean boost, like a microamp mxr) and a VOX Wah... now I´m buying a pedal what seems a marshall´s shred master, named "ODM-3 Overdrive Master" from Newell company.

'Tracks mixed', 'Run like hell' and 'The streets have no name' are especially fascinating. You really know how to get the best out of your FX setup - lots of variety here. It would be interesting to see your whole chain of FX pedals and to hear them in different combinations. Excellent stuff.

Parabéns! Futuramente gostaria de adquirir um DD-7 pra usar junto ao meu DD-3. Maravilho delay com funções super bem boladas. Quanto a função da tal citara, já usei, é simples, nada de especial não, tanto que testei mas nunca usei ao vivo...

Quando estiver mais acostumado ao seu DD-7 crie samples pra galera!

I never used batteries, just adaptor...

But, this pedal consume much battery, because the current draw is 55/65 mA.

All digital delays have a great battery consume...

Obrigado. Sim, a minha intenção foi a de distribuir várias regulagens de músicas que toco e que descobri as regulagens, pois há um bom tempo atrás, quando adquiri este delay, jamais tinha tocado com um e não encontrei ajuda alguma em relação a isso. Todas as regulagens mostradas no video são as do que toco aí.

Em Baba O´Riley, fiz uma "arranjo" em cima do que o teclado toca, então usei um capotraste na 5ª casa. A iéia é que fosse uma única repetição seca e curta, então tudo que toco é dobrado (ritmicamente, se toco ta ta ta ta, fica taka taka taka taka como resultante). Apesar da gravação não ter ficado muito boa (usei um mic de PC e ficou ruim o timbre), usei caps single em todas estas 3 canções (sendo que vc citou with or without e é "where the streets have no name" a do U2).

Well, this function "Hold" takes a few seconds of guitar signal and repeat... but don´t save this into the pedal like a real recorder, in other words, if you turn off the pedal, this little sample of guitar phrase will lost ... and never tried other devices...

Fala meu amigo, eu sei do que vc tá falando. Infelizmente o DD-3 não possui a função TAP TEMPO. Não tem a função pressionando o pedal, como nos seus pares mais modernos e nem sequer possui entrada dedicada pra um pedal externo pra isso, já que nãotem mesmo esta função. O DD-6 tem e o novo DD-7 tem de ambos modos, pressionando o foot e tb uma entrada pra pedal externo pra acionar esta e outra função tb.

Amigo, é uma questão muito subjetiva. Tem gente que usa, por exemplo, um amp Bassman que nem reverb tem. Precisaria experimentar pra adequar a teu gosto pessoal. Quando eu uso o canal clean do meu amp, costumo apenas usar o reverb sutilmente na maior parte do tempo. Só quando a música pede é que acrescento alguma modulação, como um Chorus mesmo, ou delay, se a mesma pedir. Como vê, é algo que não tem "certo ou errado", é de gosto pessoal.

Valeu, meu amigo. Resolvi postar várias regulagens, mesmo mal gravadas, pois sei que muita gente tem dificuldade pra começar a entender alguns usos pra delays... fico contente que tenha curtido.

Devo salientar que a idéia nunca é dizer que o delay da boss é "melhor" que qualquer outro, e sim, oferecer algumas possibilidades desse modelo, que por acaso, possuo.
