  • Pure magic! .. Long live Lizzy!

  • we need a fucking full length with all their unreleased/b-side recordings immediately !!!

  • its scott gorhams solo

  • I 100% agree. I believe the solo is Scott's its too melodic to be Gary (not that he could not create wonderful melodies in his solos) nobody plays as beautifully as Scott...his phrasing is is always full of emotion and never for the sake of flash.

  • Almost 90% certain it's Scott Gorham. The tone, vibrato, and rythmic phrasing are his, as are the pick slides the end of the solo. Originally, I thought it was Gary, too.

  • Thanks for upload (^ー^)ノ

  • Sounds like Gary Moore on the solo to me. Love this song.

  • thanks! never heard that one before

  • yes baby just the two ofus love you thanks phil

  • This the B side to the "Do Anything You Want To" single - 1979. Brilliant song, but missing from all the compilations. I still have the 7" single, transferred to tape, then digitised 30 years later!!

  • people who dont know what a b side is ??? LMAO

  • I have the Album and this isn't on it, well at least it wasn't on the original albumn'.

  • It was a b-side.

  • It's amazing how good their B stuff is! I haven't listened to Lizzy in a while - time for a marathon.

  • I always liked the B-sides better...

  • Why doesn't someone clean up all of these demos and put together an album. Give Phil's share to his mum or or charity, but it is a pity that this stuff is not more widely available.

  • This song isn't a demo. It's actually a b-side, and it's on the box set that was released back in 2002.

I agree with your point though. There's a ton of material (some of which I don't even have) that could make tons of great releases. I bet there is about 5-6 discs worth of demo material alone out there, and there's tons of live boots of great quality that would also make good releases.

  • this one reminds me of rosalie.

  • @blacksabfan so hungry for it!

  • @jimmo42 THIS IS NO DEMO !!!!!

  • @1986Lynott Thank you. Someone already posted that a year ago.

  • Would there be a drop of the Irish in you by any chance Blacksabfan? :)

can you send me that Philomena demo by any chance?

  • I always liked this one too - great Scott solo!!

  • oh cheers for posting this.. this song has guts.. bass has that dounk sound of valve low heaven..

  • Reminds me of Rosalie

  • Sounds like that red strat with humbuckers Scott used to play in 79/80. A throw away from the Black Rose sessions but a great song.

  • this is class the bside to the 1979 single do anything you want to do,thanks for this mate afab tune

  • Yep, and you're welcome.

  • I agree! I bought the 1979 single - and still have it! Such a great song - better than the A side I reckon! I played both sides until the record was nearly worn out! How I miss those days, spotty kid, not a care in the world and such great bands around

  • absolute love this song, great vid my friend. R I P Phil xxx
