  • DAMN I LOVE THE TIMPANI. I've heard other renditions that don't use so much timpani, but I like that they decided to bring it way out

  • This is a magnificent, angelic and divine piece of music! It is as if angels themselves composed this! I love Bach. :)

  • Great Music!!!

  • amazing....

  • Gosh, yes, this is one of the best GLorias ... pity about the end (not your fault, yes, but there is editing software, you know.)

  • In Herreweghe's CD, they chose to separate the "Gloria" and the "Et in terra pax" tracks. In the score, there is a huge mood change between the two, but not actually a separation. To make the link smooth, they put the end of the "Gloria" in the beggining of the "Et in terra pax" track, which makes the transition very weird if you are not listening directly from an audio CD. This is what happens here.

  • Thanks for explaining to everyone :) Maybe I should just make a new clip of both together!

  • excellent version. Thank you, elias12186, but you have cut the post some notes before end

  • same response I gave to beertrumpetgirl, I didn't do it, the cd technician did it. If you listen to part 5, there is the notes at the end...they messed it up not me :)

Anyways, you are very welcome =)

  • Gloria indeed.

    Never heard better.

  • you've cut the clip about 2 or 3 notes from a resolution.

Actually I should rate it again as this is the only decent recording I can find on youtube.

  • I did no such thing, the cd is just like this. If you listen to number 5 you'll see what I mean.
