1.2 dual core just seems like it'll be really underpowered vs. the competition expected to come out in a few months. It also sucks the screen resolution is true HD. Here's hoping the larger battery for LTE phones is a trend rather than an exception so we can see more phones with them in the next year with better specs to choose from.

Just got mine 2 days ago tried to kill tje battery in a day with constant use streaming and videos and was amazed at how long the phone last. Its nice to be able to put live wallpapers on it and turn up the brightness and not have any worries about getting through the day!!!!!!!

Lisa, should I get this or the Galaxy Nexus? Battery life has been an issue for me (A rooted OG Droid OC'd with custom ROM and kernel, so you can imagine the lack of battery life) but I feel like I'd be missing out on that 720p display and Android 4.0. Is double (I'm assuming) the battery life worth the screen and OS?

@KSWKREW T-Mobile and AT&T phones can sometimes be unlocked to work off each other's networks but Verizon phones, running off of their CDMA network, will not be compatible with the GSM networks of the other two unless it carries both GSM/CDMA chips. I think there are GSM variants sold in Canada and they might work on the GSM networks down here but do not take my word for it.

Nice review as always. I almost ran out and got the RAZR when it came out. But I kept hearing about how bad the battery life was and decided to wait for the MAXX. I went to the Verizon store to get the MAXX and I walked out with a Galaxy Nexus...and I I couldn't be happier. I'm sure this is a really nice phone. I just couldn't get used to the feel of either RAZR in my hand. I also think Motorola is going to make a lot of RAZR owners angry...this is what it should have been in the first place.

A person would be silly to buy this, just to get another battery. When you think about it, they are playing android users. Make a phone, then make the same phone with a bigger battery. as i said elsewhere what Motorola did with this phone is they properly copied the iPhone 4S. that is to say they focused on quality materials and battery life. this is in stark contrast to some of the Samsung offerings. i frankly don't understand why Samsung is doing better than Motorola.
