  • gotta love fools who never know when to give it a rest...

  • THAT WAS JUST SAD WHEN THAT GUY WAS ALONE

  • 1 ww2 veteran disliked

  • @niklasvp 1 WWII veteran knows that Omaha didn't happen like that.

  • Just wondering wasnt there ships bomming the beach before the troops landed because how did they not damadge any of those bunkers if anybody knows let me know and dont be a smart ass about it.

  • @russiantaco Ya the allied combined fleet and army air corps bombed those lines for quite a while. In fact there were US navy DDs that went in at point blank range and engaged those bunkers.

  • @Lionwolf0777 Thanks for clearin that up man

  • ripoff of saving privet ryan!!!

  • @ryanlikesdietcoke So when a movie shows the pivotal moment of the bloodiest battle of all time, it's instantly a rip-off? That's like saying that The Hangover is a ripoff of Superbad, because they both involve alcohol. Fuck off you stupid shit.

  • @Skier1017 suck my left nut

  • @ryanlikesdietcoke Oh would you look at that, little faggot 10 year old was defeated by someone who is educated. So instead of trying to accept defeat with dignity, he resorts to pointless and groundless insults. I would suck you left nut, but it obviously hasn't dropped.

  • @Skier1017 your getting hacked now see ya :)

  • @ryanlikesdietcoke Haha this gets better and better. Now you say you're going to hack me! HA! Grow about faggot.

  • Wow thats what you call no mercy

  • the allies have machine guns on thier boats rigth? why dont they just pin the german machinegunners down for a while until the land troops reached the shingle!

  • ah comon the mg dont sound so...weak ...

is a game they could put at least a sound from a real mg...

  • man thats nearly exact like saving private ryan (i mean the camera movings and so on)... but saving private ryan haas this awesome soung.... man thats like being there... love that film <3 :D

  • Awesome game!!!

I have to recommend the best movie on D-Day ever: The Longest Day

A bit old but still great.

  • D-DAY aniversery lets honer our Heroes

    6-6-09

  • for the men to take cover in missed..and hit the water. Omaha was a fu*k up..but it was a succesfull fu*k up..

R.I.P To all those who died, allies or not.

  • @Lemon0Tart they just won the beach cuz adolf dont want do send more support , omaha beach was undersupported not much units , no mass ammo etc if he would support the normandy then adolf would won that fight and that would change very much ;D xdd

  • @Lemon0Tart the only reason it was a fu*k up was because the Japanese demolished are navy and airforce at that Hawaiian base so we had very few ships and air support left so we had to save them by keeping them out of range of the germans so we sent the little crafts to deploy men. This happened on iwo jima (wasn't to bad) and Omaha (really bad). But more ships and air crafts were being created by women in factories. Women helped teach men how to arm a turret and how to pilot aircrafts.

  • @TheBlackbeltfighter HAHAHAHAHAHA, fuck what America teaches their kids in school is hilarious. ALLOT changed between 1941 and 1944. Pearl Harbour or "that Hawaiian base" had nothing to do with Omaha being a fuck up. It was a fuck up, due to it BEING a fuck up. The naval shelling that was ment to knockout defence's pretty much failed, and so the did the bombing run by the B-25's. Omaha was a slaughter, saved by another fuck up. It was saved by the Rangers miscommunication - continued

  • @Lemon0Tart dude stfu i know history better than u so go suk a dick u nazi

  • @TheBlackbeltfighter The miscommunication was regarding Point Du Hoc, you probably havn't heard of it if you don't even know Pearl Harbour. The Rangers were ment to go to Point Du Hoc to destroy some artillary, but had to go to Plan B - help attack Omaha. They moved everyone up the beach, and created the way through (Saving Private Ryan depicts this, although in a very hollywood way). Also, the ships wern't out of range of the Germans because they had few left, they didn't want them beached.

  • @Lemon0Tart the reason we did that on omaha was cause the japs destroyed are navy

  • @TheBlackbeltfighter well, i can tell your an idiot because you say 'are' instead of 'our'. The Japanese crippled your Pacific fleet, and by 1944 the U.S Navy had recovered IMMENSELY. The ships of the coast of Normandy were in range of inland targets, if they were to go any further towards the shore they would of been beached in the sand. You sir are either a troll, or a kid who thinks they know everything - your only encouraging the american stereotype. You clearly don't know WWII history.

  • casualties were around 6,000 or so. I can see why because i have been to omaha beach. The reasons the casualties were so high were because none of the tanks got to shore (the specialised tanks zentropa is talking about, there called DD-Shermans i beleive). Another is that there was no close air support at omaha. B-25's ran a bombing run on omaha but missed and hit inland killing only civilians. Also Gen Bradleys 'greatest show on earth' designed to destroy the defenses and create foxholes

  • yeah, there was heavy cloud cover over Omaha and Utah, so the bombers couldnt see where they were dropping and the fighters had trouble seeing where they were flying so low. Sword, Juno and Gold were about as heavily defended as Omaha and Utah but the skies were clear so the bombers were able to wipe out pretty much everything before the Brits and Canucks landed. When they did land, the met almost no resistance. The US took it the hardest all because of the damn weather.

  • And a guy who can't even get the name of one of the most commonly used weapons of WWII right thinks he's an expert on DDay?

Stop pulling info out of your ass.

  • this is my favourite game!!!

  • Scary stuff. I'm never going to the beach again or joining the army. Office work is nice and safe.

  • The army has offices.

  • I love the combat...but i deeply express my sympathy for all the loved ones of these men who gave their lives for freedom.

  • Omaha beach was a success, not a failure, shows how much either of you know. This is very hollywood, there were not in fact 2 bunkers with MG-42's in them but MG tobruk positions atop a ridge, the flak 88 bunker was outwards facing a road. Pak-40's provided the fire down onto american troops moving out. On the beach there were several houses just beyond the shingle that were bombed out.

  • Hooah...People need to know what their talking about before they open their mouths.

  • But it was almost a failure. 1000 plus US soldiers dead for a beach head that was what, 1 1/2 mile wide. Highest casualties compared to the other landing beaches. Americans should had used those specialized tanks the brits and canadians offered.

  • even if they did they would still have to get out to move the tank blockers right?

  • They were "specialized tanks" I said.

  • The tanks wouldn't have worked. The 88's would have sliced them apart. It wasn't jsut for the beach, either. This was a major push to liberate Carentan and cities beyond but the beaches had to be taken out first to make sure the Germans couldn't regroup behind the allied lines a out flank them when they pushed on through normandy, and futher into Europe My opinion, close air support let them down. If they had strafing runs during the attacks more frequently, their may have been less resistance.

  • great losses come great victories

  • The tanks got sunk before they even reached the shore, and I believe the entire landed was fucked up due to the current moving shit.

  • what's a tobruk posistion?

  • saving private hollywood

please remember americans were not the only one's who suffer on this day, but the only ones who failed...

  • Your an idiot. Utah beach was success but Omaha had the best defences of any of the D-Day beaches and thats why they failed. Stop trying to act all intellectual on something you obviously know nothing about.

  • thought all the tanks to omaha sank before they reached the coast and at utah they didnt ...

  • very few made it but if they did make it then the artillery decimated whats left of them

  • Yeah Shows How Much Shit You Know They Both Were Success Just Tons of Our Soldiers Were Lost

  • if the invasion of omaha beach was a failure then how the fuck did they capture it? is that failure? if u take the beach then thats considered failure? wow i had no idea i had it all wrong i guess...fuckin idiots man

  • your the idiot they did not fail stupid they suffered heavy casulties but they did it

  • I so want this game

  • this game is going to be good
