Do not buy the box version of the game lol I bought it at first, not only did it take about a month to reach me but it was so outdated the launcher kept failing.

Just download the client, the 10 gb of dowloading/updating/patching takes forever but its worth it :D

This game is awesome, you do need to give it abit more time than say WoW, but wow has like a mother standing ready for you when you spawn, telling you what to do, here you put into a free world with little tutorial. Check forums, ask players for help ( Very nice ppl play this game) and you will enjoy it.

I don't really care about general glitches and bugs in the game but how solid does the PvP feel? And does anyone play from the Midwest in the US? The servers are in Sweden from what I understand so that could potentially cause some serious lag issues. Anything above 150ms is way too high for me.

I hope you guys know the game was released for not so long ago + it's a small swedish company that has made it. Give 'em some slack. If you want a more polished game I'd suggest checking Darkfall online. Pretty much the same but has been out longer so most bugs are gone. I played DF or maybe is playing. I dunno. I got tired of the devs bullshit about improvements that never comes out.

@tiddleto2te The game officially launched in June, so it's been around for awhile now. The only problem is the servers are still a bit unstable it seems and patching is a nightmare, so actually getting into the game is absolute hell.

@chadboy0 Having no issue at all patching and playing, just recently purchased the game myself and found it to be very simple, its a torrent based patcher which is the only thing i could see ever giving anyone a headache if there network is poorly configured.

After failing multiple times trying to patch the game on my laptop, I tried it on the family computer and it worked perfectly first time. I haven't found the reason for this, if there is one at all. Seems pretty random to me, since my laptop and computer are very similar in specs, although my computer is running vista and my laptop is running 7. It's weird.

To remove the censorship: Turn off annotations. There is a button on the lower right side of the video "rectangle" to say so... Roll your mouse over it and click on the 1st button. It will turn of the annotations, giving you the ability to admire a female virtual body! Yee-Haa!

A small technical critique: You should try to remove the noise hiss of your audio files so that when the narration audio file stops, there isn't such an abrupt change in sound. That, or add in a looping hiss sound of your microphone recording nothing, to transition between the sound files. Just adds a bit of professionalism, imo.

Most wood is worthless. However Brownwood makes 2000c a stack. Dont forget that the selling system works like a trade. You have to grab the money from the vendor. Like you were buying it. Goodluck

I haven't seen any Staff or magelike weapon, all i can see in other videos is the sword/heal hybrid everybody is using, if this is for UO people they got it terribly wrong and will en up on whos the less lag guy hitting the mouse button faster, a total fail IMO, the really good thing about UO was the freedom of choosing what you would like to be, and when they got rid of the battlemage build wich 99% of the community was using it became more diverse and fun, I expect the same on this, if not, GL

EQ was more responsible. Not only was WoW deliberately designed as a competitor to when EQ2 was released but almost every aspect of the game was done by EQ before it. The only significant difference of WoW was that Blizzard had a large user base from previous titles such as Starcraft, Diablo and the Warcraft series to entice into WoW. When it comes down to it though, if anything WoW is an EQ clone, regardless of it's user base, mind you EQ was tremendously successful for its time also.

They are not in beta. They are in open beta and releasing in a week.

This is why they had stress tests, so this shit wouldn't happen. You can defend it all you want. The game has potential, but it is not in an enjoyable state right now.
