  • Description for the win.

  • Kinda looks like a Judgement Slam.

  • I always loved the way the WcW ring sounded

  • @Bloodyscissors *wonk wonk*

  • burning hammer.

  • @blamputt Not even close

  • this guy Kanyon used to live a few blocks from me here in NYC.. RIP bro

  • one ear i hear the crowd and the other i hear commentary.

  • isn't that just an inverted TKO

  • That move is awesome

  • Argentine press into a neckbreaker.

  • everyone the name is an Argentine Neckbreaker

  • reverse F5

  • @WRESTLINGVIKING It's a Fireman's Carry / Falling Neck Breaker

  • @hit9uget9 no its not a firean carry is the begiingign of the additude ajustmint its more like a argentine into a falling neckbreaker

  • Do you guys remember him doing a jumping flatliner? It looked like a reverse rock bottom.

  • I for one.....Wished Kanyon would of stayed as Mortis,,,,,Mortis was so badass!! :-) But Kanyon had his moments! :-)

Anyone else remember that big bump he took where I think it was Nash tossed him off the cage and unto the ramp?

  • whooooooo betteeeeer then kanyooon?

  • Ah yes, the rarely seen "Kanyonaro".

  • Kanyon: biggest move stealer in history. Nova iNOVAted 75% of Kanyons offense

  • THE INNOVATOR OF OFFENSE!

  • @joemj413 you're a fucking idoit

  • It's aII about Mortis

  • Reverse Diamond Cutter?

  • I think it's called the Attitude Adjustment.

  • Didn't tomko use that? called it the Tree Slam...

  • @paynexkillerAOTF yeah i remember he used it on Jericho years ago.He stands with the opponent on the shoulders for a few seconds.

  • Saturn and Kanyon had the sickest moves

  • R.I.P kanyon awesome moves you had there :(

  • Kanyon was the innovator of offense! With all the moves this guy could pull off I'm surprised he didn't win a few more titles. Wasted talent and he was not the only one.

  • REVERSE TKO

  • kanyon always had some cool moves.

  • Innovator of offense.

  • R.I.P Kanyon

  • that IS aweomse. gonna use it in tribute. i loved kanyon

  • Fireman's carry > spin out neckbreaker thingy? Kanyon's awesome move? LOL. Try MOVES. He did all sorts of "is it this, that or that?" type of stuff.

A shame his career went the way it did. I loved the dude.

  • @tokokuken that was a torture rack/argentenian backbreaker into a hangmans neckbreaker.. not a firemans carry

  • @Anarchylotb Quit stiffin' me, brah! I was having a little fun. You should try it.

  • @tokokuken LMAO!

  • Who's better than Kanyon?

  • R.I.P Kanyon

  • WHO BETTER THAN KANYON?

  • @frenchyManUTD1989

    EVERYBODY!!!!

  • i would use this move as my finisher but i would definitely pay tribute to him

  • It's a fireman's carry into what I could only call a reversed diamond cutter. Kanyon was known as the inavator of offense. His in ring ability was incredible. A true talent. I think he deserved an awesome push in the buisness.

  • @thereverendwho its actually the argentine lift into a neckbreaker a.k.a rack to pancake.

  • @chriswjp Are you sure it's not a drop toe hold?

  • @thereverendwho if memory serves me right

  • fireman's carry neckbreaker

  • Looks like a Argentine Backbreaker Setup into a neckbreaker.

  • Pretty sure thats a Hangman's Deathdrop.

  • now its 500 comments

  • thats a reserve F5

  • kanyon was a beast at coming up and using cool moves. rip

  • lame

  • Who's better than Kanyon?

  • @SenorFancyPants87 Nobody!

  • Kanyon made up a new move every week.

  • it looks like the other version of angle slam to me :)

  • its a bit like the move tyler reks uses.. does anyone know what THAT variation is called?

  • @HamzaA001 Last I saw Tyler Reks was using the F5, Brock Lesner's finisher.

  • @TheVampireEd

correction, he uses a Torture Rack into DDT, closer to a Burning Hammer than anything

  • has anyone else noticed the great american bash logo?

  • @Lefterhccc: Yes. Jim Crockett Promotions started the Great American Bash as a tour in 1986. There were three GAB PPVs under the NWA banner (1988, 1989 and 1990), and WCW used the name in 1991, 1992 and from 1995-2000. War Games debuted during the 1987 GAB Tour. It's the one PPV name that WWE recycled from WCW.

  • who better than Kanyon?

  • well the the guys arguing below just take the name of the move and put your name in front of it and it's yours, tbone tazz plex, tazzmission, everything or every move has been invented already you don't think ddp invented the diamond cutter or you probaly think randy orten invented the rko, and i swear if you're gonna say wrestlings fake wtf do you watch it, go watch tennis or bowling there "reall" never heard of broken freakin neck in bowling though lol

  • Awesome move, I loved being kanyon in Revenge

  • @s1ames3dream Ha! Wow, great reference to Revenge man. I remember seeing this move in the game as his "back special" and thinking, "no way that move can get pulled off so nicely"

  • I love the heated arguments over which imaginary hold name is the correct one. Anyone ever hear of the over the shoulder 180 nut blaster? It's a devastating maneuver!

  • Awesome Argentine Backbreaker Rack Neckbreaker. RIP Kanyon.

  • ANGLE SLAMMMMM

  • @BkkCheesepie no it's not! it's not even close dick weed

  • @BkkCheesepie WRONG

It's a torture rack setup into an elevated neck breaker which is impressive.

  • @ramennoodlechef Ok la you win lor...I just watch wrestling only what... I not so hardcore like you can watch for 10+++ years.

  • @BkkCheesepie I'm actually not really hardcore but I do have the Original Wrestlemania on VHS tape : )

  • I used to like Kanyon until I watched ECW and saw that Kanyon was just stealing all his moves from guys like Nova, Raven and The Sandman. Fuck Kanyon. He's a dead faggot who stole moves.

  • @TheTrueFranchise you cant steal moves in wrestling do you know how hard it is creating your own unique never before realistic move.

  • @chivoxtrereme yeah I do. Watch some CZW, ROH, Chikara, DragonGate, Pro Wrestling NOAH or DDT.....you will see a million moves you have never seen before you fucking mark. Fuck Kanyon.

  • @TheTrueFranchise I do watch all of those and i forgot this clip is from the late 90s but i was speaking about today you think of a new move and you watch a video and guess what that move is in it.

  • @chivoxtrereme well then why did you even say that? Fucking mark. I'm sure you have never seen or heard of half those other companies too by the way.

  • @TheTrueFranchise ive seen and heard of all those companies you fucking smark

  • @chivoxtrereme no, I'm not a smark...I'm not really a mark either though. I'm like a tweener for fans...which is pretty sweet because I'm like the only one. Anyway...if you have seen those companies then you should be watching that instead of this. Peace be the journey my friend

  • @TheTrueFranchise WCW was the first company that i saw and know TNA, just watching some clips of the past.

  • @chivoxtrereme old TNA was awesome. I just don't get why the people running it now don't get what made it good....The X division. TNA was basically ROH but with a few big names and decent angles to begin with....now it's kind of painful to watch

  • @TheTrueFranchise Ive been a big fan of TNA stoped watching wwe and waiting for ROH to get a better TV deal

  • @TheTrueFranchise great name drops there buddy. Doesn't make you anymore of a wrestling expert. And by the way, how can Kanyon steal the Flatliner when he was the one who created it, genius. Yeah he innovated the leg hook reverse STO. Nice try though...

  • @ramennoodlechef ERRRRRRR!!! WRONG!!! Actually the move was either invented by Gedo in Japan or Mike Bucci aka Nova in ECW. Thanks for playing though. Class dismissed idiot

  • @TheTrueFranchise ::facepalm:: yeah you are ABSOLUTELY correct because a regular STO is the "same exact thing" as a lifting leg hook STO which is a variation of it. GREAT JOB you are definately spot on. : /

  • @ramennoodlechef Ummm...I don't know why you are on here talking especially when you have no fucking clue what you are talking about. Actually moron, an STO lands the opponent on their back, maybe look up Christopher Daniels on that one. Edge, Randy Orton, Kanyon all did "NOVAcaine" in America. Gedo in Japan also did the move. The STO was invented by Judo Master Naoya Ogawa and when he went to wrestling he used it as a finish. The move in this video is not an STO at all you idiot.

  • @ramennoodlechef the move in this video would best be described as a Torture Rack to Neck Breaker. Do you know what an STO is. I don't think you do. Next time you want to correct the Teacher you should study up then do your homework first. Class dismissed....AGAIN.

  • Oh OH!! That's a 'Spinning Mcgillacutty Drop'!!!

  • what PPV is it??

  • @RommyTDW is this a real question?

  • so.. 455 is "almost 500"?! it's like hitler is "almost kennedy"..

  • R.I.P

  • i think its the Kanyon Canyon Drop

  • that is the inverted spinning cocoanut cricket drop

  • He always had a good maneuvers

  • Kanyon was the shit!

  • @wcwapp;pgist it is called a swinging neckbreaker. kanyon has saturn on his back and turns it into a swinging neckbreaker a great move alot of impact on neck.

  • it's hard to even describe alot of kanyon's moves in traditional terms. truly, the innovator of offense. rip kanyon.

  • This is argentine backbreaker hold droper into a neckbreaker

  • he was the innovator of offense

  • Saturn had a crappy costume back then...

  • @sharkdudeintegra You never saw him in Japan...he seriously only wore a bumbag

  • @WaltWalt420 eh...Saturn was a fag anyway

  • @sharkdudeintegra piss off, perry saturn was a fucking beast

  • @SoAndChobe In his WCW days he sucked ass. I think the high-point of his career was when he was abducted into the WWF as one of the Radicalz, but then shortly after that he started acting retarded and dressing like a woman, and then I knew that was it for the poor bastard

  • @sharkdudeintegra saturn never sucked in WCW at all

  • @SoAndChobe Yes Perry had GREAT MATCHES, and took insane bumps! Really nice move btw!

  • @SoAndChobe Perry Saturn was awesome in WCW and I don't think any of us will ever forget Moppy

  • The most innovative wrestler ever, he had a lot of original moves.

  • Argentine backbreaker lift transitioned into a neckbreaker. Thats what id say.

  • kinda like a reverse death valley into a neckbreaker

  • kanyon, raven, saturn, and jericho shouldve been wcw's future. good job wcw.

  • r.i.p chris kanyon

  • @24Pacs How did he die ?

  • @sweetscience85 The autopsy suggested he overdosed on drugs. I'm not sure what type but I know it was overdose. Definate suicide.

  • wcw KANYON had like the dopest moves

  • who better than Kanyon?

  • @hazardous1990 no one?

  • who better than Kanyon?

  • reverse dvd neckbreaker also called spinning rack into pancake

  • Inverted TKO

  • Argintine Neckbreaker

  • Backbreaker rack into a hangman's meckbreaker. Leave it to Kanyon to come up with some great combinations.

  • the move is called a firemans neckbreaker

  • R.I.P Kanyon

  • RIP KANYON!

  • R.I.P. Chris Kanyon

  • First angle looked really cool. Second angle it's just a neckbreaker.

  • Awesome worker, very underrated. He was like a utility infielder, and it's sad that none of the promotions took complete advantage of his skills.

  • Kanyon was called an innovator of offense!!!!!

  • The Innovator of Offense.

  • Kanyon was a good wrestler, sorry to see he passed away.

  • Argentine neckbreaker

  • Was this the original version of the Flatliner?

  • WHO DEADER THAN KANYON?!

  • @AberrantBJJ thts fucked up man

  • yeah...very very good move...rip chris...

  • I liked the sound those old WCW rings would make. It was like the wrestlers fell on a piece of wood.

  • Ya they used the perfect width of plywood.

  • @babylonkid

you talking about the sound the ring made?

  • @postmasterw00t Ya, I was replying to skinwalkers post.

  • That is a Backbreaker rack dropped into a neckbreaker .

    Great

  • R.I.P Chris Kanyon you were the original "Innovator Of Offense"

  • what a move

  • i wish he gave those guys the Flatliner

  • That dude has some of the best unorthodox moves in the business!!! It's sad he had to go out like that.

  • RIP Kanyon

  • 2/3 of the jersey triad are dead. just sad.

  • i think he called it a death valley driver aka the flatliner.

  • lol this is BAD for your back.. and it NEEDS INCREDIBLE streangth

  • @XArcane Shut the fuck up, That many Kanyon died this morning

  • HOW many kanyons died this morning?

  • @OpheliaImmortal ALL OF THEM! (sorry, no disrespect intended, someone had to answer that one)

  • @alexnzx He was also a homosexual.

  • So is your dad and you turned out ok. Right?

  • @babylonkid No, actually he isn't. Would kinda defeat the purpose of his homosexuality to spend his life having sex with women. I'm not saying Kanyon is/was any worse a wrestler because he's gay, or a bad person. In fact he's a better wrestler because he's gay. It's full-contact performance theater with oiled up men in tights and underpants, and the fact that he's technically one of the best in this 'sport' coincides with the fact that wrestling is really gay.

  • Whos gayer than Kanyon?

  • you fn ignorant !

  • Who betta than Kanyon?

  • Everyone.

  • dude i remember just wanting to see what new move he do next

  • toucher rack into a neck breaker tko is a reverse f-5 into a rko
