how does the car conect to the tower?

I use to latch mechanism.
one LEGO Transmission Driving Ring and pully. tr-ring to left then gear is locked and rotation from motor driving. tr-ring to right then gear is free rotation (car move down to grownd.)

I use fishing wire. As a well bucket. :)
