This Administration has tried to protect Karl Rove much in the same way it tried with Scooter Libby. Rove is now out of the scene at the White House (officially speaking), so let's see who's protecting him now!
I agree with you, however this point was raised on Bill Maher's show, and this point was made. The response to this point (I cannot remember who said it) made the case that the powers that be will continue to protect Rove because if he [Rove] decides to talk it would be very damaging to them [Bush Administration].
It is interesting to note that when I attempted to post my comments in this regard on WHNT-TV's blog site "The Rant", mentioning Mr. & Mrs. Canary and Rove, it was NEVER posted! Hmmmm!
