For sure, I like more Deris too, but at least, I wanna see he sang this song too. Kiske is a great singer, not one of my favorities, but he has a nice voice. But, I think this song is much better with Matos, maybe is the sound on the Wacken record, but, for me, too much better with Matos. A great song, well executed by Kiske.

Well, Kiske sings it on the record, and this is a flawless performance. I don't consider Matos to be even close, to be honest. Check out Tobias Sammet during the song, he is IN AWE of Kiske all the time. And as he says during the end of the solo part, Kiske has made thousands of people want to learn how to sing like him.

Noone comes close to Kiske when performing songs that he has sung. Everyone praise Kiske's vocals not only Tobias and Andre. As Tobias stated when he listened to Kiske he wanted to become a singer. Even when I asked Tolkki who has Matos in his band for his favorite singer he said Kiske. That says a lot!

I prefer Matos version of the song and, as a ceticist, I say this is more a tribute to a legend (Kiske) than a awesome performance... But still nice ^^

@888helloween Kiske lo hace MUY bien en este tema, puede que haya perdido un poco a lo largo del tiempo pero ni de lejos como la mayoria de cantantes de su edad. Sigue sonando muy muy bien, y es de reconocer sobretodo porque aun es capaz de darle potencia y esos agudos a la voz que es lo que realmente cuesta. Andi deris es un pallaso que le digo yo, si hara mucho el mongui en el escenario y puede que a ti te guste pero como voz es fecal. La musica es eso, musica, olvidate de lo demas.

Well he definitely hit higher notes in his youth (see the octave wonders video on youtube), but everyone did that. I think he's one of the singers that can sing the highest for his age, as the voice usually goes darker by time with males. But this was, anyway you look at it, an amazing performance, and I'm so glad Kiske got to shine like this :)

I love the choirs on studio records but live it sounded a litlle weak, but much better than I ecpected. But I think they should not do more live shows, this was great ending with lots of special guests and more repeating will lose this exclusivity:)

I think that metal opera songs loose their magic and balls live:( maybe I miss Markus and Henjo on the bass and guitar or old Tobi's voice or..I don't know...it's good but I consider Metal Operas as my total most favourite albums of all time(I listen to all kinds of metal inclucing black/death) and live it sounds poor:( I attended Lichtenfels shiw last winter,it was great but I liked the newer songs(especially from scarecrow) much better than Metal Operas songs.
