  • Shes so smart! We love her!

  • oh my, im so in love with this song

  • There are no singers like Loretta Lynn and Connie Francis today.

  • @Shrinksjp I agree. Singers like Lynn and Francis are all gone and we have to deal with trash who are nothing but whores who can scream on the stage.

  • @calihartley2010 I agree with ya. I don't like the music these days. 60's and 70's country was the best!

  • @countryFTW1988 I am glad that you have good taste. Please keep it up.

  • @calihartley2010 ;o Indeed so. You just gotta love that woman.

  • Loretta's husband's favorite singer was Connie Francis.

  • Loretta and Stevie Nicks are among the best ever !!! Shame the modern music can't compete.

  • The good old days when whites were in control and we did not have blacks spewing out their garbage rap.

  • @calihartley2010 no need to be racist, back then we had just as many good black musicians and singers, nat king cole for example, a lot of my favorite blues players, and today what do we have? lady gaga and kesha? please! it's not the "race" or any race that's the problem, it's just the times, and pop culture society today- which is ALL garbage in comparison.

  • @cheifburninggrass Well ofcourse lady gaga and other modern white singers are terrible singers. I love Nat King Cole. I never siad that black singers of those days were bad. I am complaining about the black singers of today and that goes for the modern white singers too. Please learn to read between the lines.

  • @calihartley2010 Doesn't it sound racist to you? I agree though. Rap is crap.

  • @countryFTW1988 what sounds racist? Please explain. I commend you for having good taste in music.

  • I'd love to have that Gibson ES-335!!

  • wow, this is so great,

I just love Loretta Lynn~how can you not?

  • oh my? i love this? :)

  • good ole hillbilly country

  • Whoever gave this a thumbs down is headed to Fist City.

  • This is great but I thought the lyric was plaything and not baby

  • @MikeHudson65 Yes, the original lyric is everybody's somebody's play-thing, but I have a feeling that some people believe it or not felt the phrase was too provocative for some. I've heard some singers say "baby" when, in the original Connie Francis hit record she clearly says play-thing. I feel the original wording means, it's not right to treat someone like a "play thing", everyone deserves to be treated with respect. At least, that's the way I personally have always interpreted it.

  • @JohnnyGNV You are cocrrect. The word plaything relates to the wood fool in the title.

  • I love the way she says 'baby' :)

  • I like this !

  • the NORA SHOW, NEW STANTON, PA., USA

  • I LOVE THIS GAL & I ALWAYS WILL: LORETTA LYNN !

  • one of the best females from nashville

  • too cute.

  • i love her voice <3 this was my great grannys fav. song rest in peace granny jack :)<3

  • hey KEL, im your fool....no exception to that rule

  • This is epic!

  • she is my hero to be completly honest :) truuue talent

  • My friend would havevd loved this he was used to Marie sining it Mickey

  • love this song...

  • Thank you don ' t know this song

  • Damn, I miss watchin her live on t.v.

  • to those who think Loretta had cheek implants, she didn't. She has high cheekbones. Usually high cheekbones just seem like an angle above the cheeks but hers show alot cos her cheeks are thin.

  • @kaylianne13 Surely not! There's not actually ppl out there who think Loretta Lynn had cheek implants, are there?! What is the world coming to?

  • true country

  • This is good but it doesn't touch Connie Francis's version.

  • @msymsed Connie's is THE version, a multi-million seller. Connie was Loretta's husband's favorite singer.

  • @Shrinksjp Bless her freakin heart. LORETTA is The BEST in COUNTRY MUSIC and has Sold more Records then any Female Artist and has gotten more Golden Records then any Female Artist and is the Most Awarded Lady in the HISTORY of COUNTRY MUSIC. And if this Connie woman can top miss LORETTA which I really doubt cause NO body know who Connie is anymore get back to me please.

  • @MrRickycurry Connie ranks thrid in overall record sales of all time behind Aretha and Madonna. She was Loretta's husband's favorite singer. She has sold hundreds of thoudsands records and still sells out concert halls. She performed for kings queens, presidents, etc. Her accolades are innumerable. She is regharded as the premiere singer of the 20th century and the prototype for female singers.

  • I'll take this version over Connie Francis's any day.

  • @wlhardy Connie's live performance on the Sullivan Show surpasses even her million selling recorded version.

  • @Shrinksjp Yah I think I like Connie Francis' version better even though I love Loretta Lynn's voice...

  • @toemeraldcity I love Connie's voice, especially on her LP tracks and some of her singles. A very distincvctive and clear-as-a bell voice. I do like Connie's live performance of this song better than her million selling version. She was Loretta's Lynn's husbands favorite singer. I also like Loretta as far as country music goes.

  • @toemeraldcity Connie's version became a multi-million seller and Connie's German version is still the biggest selling record of all time in Germany.

  • ...i believe at some point loretta had cheek implants....1964-65..?

  • @yedon68 no implants, she had Indian in her

  • I hope you never take this one off you tube!

  • THIS SONG IS SO TRUE

  • yes it should be plaything.

  • Yes it should be plaything. Who recorded it first?

  • sooooo amazing,loretta look's like an angel

  • shes too cute

  • @SuperBnichols boy, ya got that right, isent she something

  • made me cry

  • sweet!

  • "Everybody's somebody's baby"? It should be "Everybody's somebody's plaything".

  • we all have fun.

  • some at the expense @ others

  • BEST version of this song bar none!

  • I do like this version. However, the best version in my opinion is the Ed sullivan version by Connie Francis posted bt Dragunov. I prefer that one to Connie's number 1 hit version.

  • Just another great job by a great lady - and even better w/o commercial Nashville sound -

    RMANL

  • aint it the truth...

  • The guy in the back playing bass looks like Mr. Woodcock.

  • Her voice is so clear. She sings so naturally and with such perfect phrasing. She's the best.

  • q buena cancion great song gran tema de los gringos

  • this is amazing!!! i love loretta and she is the greatest!!!

  • I believe this was shot before Loretta hit Nashville, when she was still in Washington State.

  • Yeehaaww!

  • Až na severní pól šel bych rád... jen kdybys chtěla být ke mně vlídná... Milan Chladil ;)

  • Wow This was a long time ago....But A Great Song By A Great Lady...She Did A Great Job On A Connie Francis Song!

  • Comment removed

  • who cut the guy out of the video who walked loretta lynn on to the stage ? and who removed the fiddle break at the end of the video ? that was my brother who introduced loretta and played the fiddle break at the end of the clip.

  • A greta Connie Francis hit. Connie's is more pop.. However,, Connie's live Ed sullivan version is more similar to this version. Connie was Loretta's husband's favprite singer.
