That's how the video's supposed to be seen. Then you do the cross eyed trick to make it 3D

You should never cross your eyes to view 3D. It's horrible that YT has that setting, and worse still that people say to use it. Instead, use the "Parallel" setting, which is how your vision normally works anyway.

@MjrTom2009 i know this is a bit late but your wrong to a degree. our eyes naturally cross to view closer objects. take this for example put your finger in front of your face, move it away and towards your face. im sure you'll feel your eyes crossing as your finger comes closer. also when you have an object close i'm sure you can see that the background is a double image when focusing on something that is close to your face.

@shazaam33456 What you described is exactly how "Parallel" viewing option works and exactly how our eyes naturally work. However, the "Cross Eyed" option requires crossing your eyes substantially more than natural.

Try staring at your finger right in front of your face for say 110 mins if you can. You'll find it terribly uncomfortable in a short time. Then try staring at say canyons, meadows, lakes off in the distance for say 110 mins; you'll find it very peaceful.

HOW TO GET RID OF THE 'EYE EFFECT' AFTER WATCHING:

Stare at a non-brightly coloured surface (such as the wall or a ceiling).

Shake your head a couple of time to get rid of the effect while keeping your eyes open. Hope i helped!
