  • Mafia 2? hehe;)

  • More cowbell....

Just a joke, people. This has got to be the greatest 20th Century musical piece.

  • I have posted the Complete January 16, 1938 Carnegie Hall Concert Version of Sing, Sing, Sing!

  • None of the recordings for Sing Sing Sing so far have been complete because of the 10 minute restriction - I thought this was a good attempt to make it seem complete.

  • For the approx. 2 minutes of Jess Stacy's piano solo at the end (just before the finale - which was spliced into this so you would not know it was incomplete) search "Benny Goodman Jazz Legend Part 5" - It's so worth it... It also has the finale - in its proper place. just wonderful! - The piano itself goes from about 1:10 to 3:20

  • We, music lovers, are all in debt to the composer Louis Prima, the bandleader Benny Goodman, the drummer Gene Grupa and certainly also to the great trumpet player Harry James! Sing Sing Sing is perhaps the most wonderful masterpiece of swing music of all times. When I used to listen to this in my car, I was a danger on the road…

  • Been looking for his, the 1938 Carnegie Hall live recording, for longer than I care to remember. An absolute classic. BigJoe, you are a jazz deity.

  • Just amazing. What great music!

  • Hard to find the full version like this one..great going Bigjoe...One of the all time great songs...Have listened to this a thousand times and it get better each time.
