  • awesome work and really cool tutorial for us beginners.......you make it look so simple when you do it! really love your work.

  • @SNEEPER1980 Thank you,glad you enjoyed.

  • Love the closing statements, Ed. Reminds me of when I was a kid back in1970. My dad was a professional painter but did side work in our garage. At night he'd shoot a car, cut the lights out and open the doors and this eerie fog would go floating down the ally, LOL. I know, it was bad, but those days are long over. I'm working on a EPA approved spray booth.

  • @coffcraft Cool.

  • Ed, this is a great Idea!......custom card holder display.....I'm guna utilize this!! Thanks for the idea man, thats awesome!!!.....later

  • @DavesKustoms There ya go.

  • Great videos like always.

But I don't really like how the stencil spaces between the flames look.

I think it would've looked better if you had left the space between the flames from the stencil black and later added your own flames as background (I hope you can understand what I tried to say ^^)

  • @ADadasadasdadw It is all personal preference on what some one likes. I do understand what you are saying.

  • Wow, All videos are awful!

We've been watching you videos on our lessons ( going to be a car painter ).

    Really Great job!

  • @DEPMUHATOP LOL Thanks

  • @DEPMUHATOP awful =/= awesome. :)

  • ed how ya doing man, love the video's and i'm hoping to take delivery of my first airbrush. but i have one big question. is there a big difference in the paint you use toward's using waterbased product's ? here in ireland we've only waterbased and 2k for clear! keep up the savage video's.

  • @stretchmurphy Water based paints work fine man.

  • Ed i checked coastair but i didnt see any of the 3d paintables skull stuff ive seen u painting. does that mean their out of stock or just not available yet? any info would be a big help. thanks!

  • "Wear gloves and a respirator while doing this". Ed, where is your respirator? Haha tisk tisk.

  • Whats up Ed? Love your vids bro. I been working on signs to put in shops as well. I did 1 on an old Kowi tank from the junk yard. I just glassed over the fill hole to give more room for artwork. I just finished one on a piece of scrap formica from redoing my bathroom. I'm starting another on an old strat style giutar body, thats going in a local music store. Keep them videos comming man.

  • @Yldii Sounds like you are busy.

  • what kinda airbrush are you using in this video

  • @disturbedrocker1 Iwata HP-BCS from coatairbrush(dot)com

  • You are a genius!!!

  • @machinaga1968 AHHHHHHH not really ....ok I am.LOL

    Just kidding.Thank you.

  • Ed, why cant i find those template things anywhere for sale? i looked on your site. no luck :( if they are cheap enough, id love to buy a bunch of em for test panels at my shop.

  • @godofm3tal1 You can only buy the 3D panels from coastairbrush(dot)com

They have a couple up on there site and I am in the process of making more as we speak.

  • @edhubbs yeah i saw that disclaimer after i wrote my comment lol found em :) but yeah, they are mixed in with a lot of other stuff. I like a lot of it. But some might be a bit out of budget for mass scaled production. Wanted to have like 20 - 30 pictures all hanging around the shop, all uniform to the same template. ill pick a few up

  • @godofm3tal1 Check out my web site and facebook page I have been posting new photo's of the new 3D Designs

  • You are a great teacher. thanks for all the videos. I have only been painting for about 10 months and have learned so much from you. I want to paint my own bike and want to do ghost skulls. could you do a video to show how to do this? I want to have to look for them . hens the ghost look. I looked all over the internet for something I could learn from but no luck. I will be doing it on a black bike.

if you can't I understand. thanks

  • @jammer1018 I will see what i can do.

  • Damn Ed, every time I think you can't do a better job teaching........you do!!! Enjoyed the 3 very much, and learned a ton as always. I love how you cater to the beginner through intermediate all in the same vid. My only concern is with your new venture, you will become soooo rich that you will no longer make vids. ;) Thanks again.

  • @Thundering34 Thank you very much for the compliment,it means a lot. Rich...LOL I would settle for being able to pay my existing bills just like every one else.

  • Hey edd, great tutorial, thank you. I'm sure you get a ton of questions like this, but what airbrush and pumps do you recommend for a beginner? Thanks.

  • @oddcarl1 Go to coastairbrush(dot)com and check out there Iwata starter sets.

  • Love your Vids ed, Just appreciate the time and effort you put in to showing and teaching us, Ive never touched an airbrush, but am really keen to have a play with one and have a bit of fun, i get more enthusiastic about it every time you post up a new video

  • @GarethDavidWebb Well go have some fun air brushing.LOL

  • Hey ed, I'm about to go airbrush for different body shops.Kind of like freelancing. Do I need a business permit of any kind when I do this?

  • @slamacow You need a Tax ID Number for tax purposes. But you can also use your soc. security number instead. Also if they pay you a check over $600.00 in a years time you will be getting a 1099 form from them that you are required from the IRS to fill out and pay taxes on. Or just deal in cash and not worry about any of it.LOL

  • i wanna copy your tattoo sooo bad. maybe when i got my own paint shop :)

  • g'day edd......I purchased some of these stencils from airsick and I've gotta say the service from these guys was second to none......reasonably priced shipping over here to queensland australia as well.....thanks for the vid's mate....whitey

  • @lfk156 I will watch it when you upload it.

  • I agree with clearing yourself being bad for health. I don't have much choice other than rattle can clear in my garage at the minute. Cool video again

  • @Stanty16 I just want every one to understand that there are other ways to get there projects clear coated.

  • @edhubbs yea definately, most begineers I know don't even think about it, so cool for mentioning the other options

where the dead elk? great job!!

  • @psychodelicdragon In some one else's camp.LOL

  • I can't wait to get some cash flow in. I bought an Iwata eclipse series air brush awhile back along with compressor and spray guns but ran out of funds to buy your tutorial videos on ATV and plastics and painting supplies along with stencils. lol Maybe one day I'll be able to get them. Love the videos though they keep in interested in Airbrushing.

  • @sspletz I hear that, hope things pick up for ya.

  • Another great one, Ed. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

  • @sgtm1775 Thank you I am glad that you enjoyed it.

  • If this was just half as easy as you make it look... Nice work. But in the end of part 2 it looked like you had done some highlighting in yellow in addition to this. Was that just my tired eye?

  • @oveku Actually it is tangerine orange over white. But in the light it has that effect.

  • I really enjoy watching your videos, they are a real help to me. Thanks for the inspiration and tuition, i can only hope to be that good one day.

  • @lambrettaladUK It only takes practice.

  • Thanks for sharing Ed...nice work as always

  • @pyrofella No prob. man

  • My god you have some mad skills!

  • @LeeChristmas1985 Thanks

  • Don't forget that Dave from Airsick can also do custom cuts for ya, you can send him a design for a stencil and he can cut it for you!

Ideas include having your signature custom cut or one of designs that you come up with as well.

I talked to Dave and he also says that these are ok for using on cakes (fondant or BC) as well!

  • @knittycakebaker Thanks for the info for every one.

  • Great painting as always Ed.

I really like the idea of using the panels in that method for advertising. I can see things like that getting a fair amount of business.

Ed, you could also try a placing them at Machine shops that cater to racing, and Barber shops.

  • @greenvaepor See there ya go. It has every one thinking now. Thanks for sharing your opinions and ideas with every one else.

  • awesome stuff. I am borrowing an airgun my buddy uses to start playing around tonight and I got some spraypaint to test the carbon fiber technique you use. (Assuming I can do the same thing with a rattle can instead of a gun)

  • @wallenc Tony D from airbrushtricks(dot)com does a video on how to do it with a rattle can.
