I'm Goin' Home.... by helicopter" referred to the way the artists were transported to the site. Being one of the first festivals in that time ('69) located at Max Yasgur's farm, nobody could estimate the people would show up, it turned out to be something like 700.000 This led to a traffic approx 20 km round the site. For that reason festival mgmt decided to bring in the artists by helicopter to a backstage place.

e c# b e/d b a b/a c# d d#/e f# g g#. Repeat as you need to.

Lee refers to the song first...I'm Goin' Home...the reference: "by helicopter" refers to the artists needing to be flown into the concert by helicopter, as the routes to Woodstock were blocked.
