  • i wish i could have a room like this! and where did you get the wicker drawers from? xxx

  • @emilylikessmakeup The wicker drawers were from Argos.. They were actually bathroom storage and came with another smaller set of 2 drawers for £20 :-) x

  • @floridadream11 ah thank you very much i think ill buy them, i've been looking for some drawers like this for ages! love the room btw xxx

  • @emilylikessmakeup Thanks and no probs :-) The drawers themselves are pretty small btw, u can't fit a great deal in them, if I'd have known I wouldnt have bought them but it depends what u want to put in them! :-) x

  • looks great! love the furniture & the wall color!

  • @americanbluebell Thanks! The walls were the colour when I moved in, I did orignally want them pure white but because they were a pastel colour anyway, i decided to save myself the hassle and left them :-)

  • am thinking off painting my set of draws white from pine, how did you do it?, did you sand it down first,?

  • @rolacola34 you should use Forrow & Ball paint in Old White. Sand the draws down lightly then give two coats. sand at the edges to give a lovely 'shabby chic effect

  • @pinkynbaby Thanks, I'll have to remember that in future - too impatient, thats my problem! x

  • @rolacola34 See the comment below - i was impatient and didn't do it the right way, I just got some white wood paint and did it, although I have watched a few videos since then, and to get the distressed look, take some sand paper and sand down a little on the edges to give it that old look :-)
