Buen final para una gran máquina. Estuve en el museo del aire hace unos años y recuerdo un F5 con la panza en el suelo y medio despiezado cogiendo óxido. Si te gustan los aviones, te da pena velos así.
Nice ending for the plane, beats being chopped up for scrap metal!
I flew many RF-4C, Shaw AFB, and Udorn Thailand 1971-1976. Was an instructor pilot at Shaw, 1973-1976. LNK ANG just finished check out when I got back from Viet Nam. I wanted to fly for NebrANG, but was stuck in real USAF. I'm a LSE High grad, went to USAF Academy.
The RF-4 was a great plane to fly in combat! Fast! And when we flew formation to NVN, we were lead! (F-4E wingmen). I sure miss it!
this is indeed CR.12-48 (12-57), former USAF #65-0822 as stated, this was transferred to Spain in Jan. 1989, ex 165 TRS / 123 TRW Kentucky ANG

What was the S/N of this aircraft? Several of these were ex Nebraska ANG planes, and this might have been one of my planes!
