  • Great compilation!

Charlie Prince - the best char, realy great.

Ben Foster looks beter even than Russel Crowe.

  • Great job. Great song. Great character. Great mix, signed up just so I could tell you. Usually hate people f-ing with others intellectual property but this almost seems born for it.

  • @giiwhiiz Thank you very much!! :) I'm really glad, that you like my video. :)

  • don't like this actor. nope. not at all.

  • Thank you, he`s the sexiest man alive and I`ve made my 5 last sketches all `bout Charlie the Prince ;)

  • easily the best actor in the movie

  • I met Ben Foster In Monterey. GREAT GUY!!! Gorgeous, Funny, Sweet!! Soooo Talented!!

  • Charlie really did care about Ben and what does Ben Wade do? shoot the trigger man in the chest.

  • I saw this video you made when i was in Iraq, everyday after patrol i would run to my laptop and upload this and watch it. No matter how bad the patrol was this always made me happy as hell. This is my favorite movie and one of my favorite songs. this adrenaline pumping music mixed with my favorite western character really helped me through the tough times. Good old nut case Charlie prince and SOBW (they say) Always makes me smile, even when people were shooting at me. Thanks a bunch!

  • @southernprideyankee You made me a great morning with this comment! :) I'm really happy that you like my video, and I just can't believe that it helped you so much... it sounds amazing and almost unbelievable to me. :) So... I say thank you! :)

  • @southernprideyankee We have spoken about this perormance in the past. I'm proud to know you served this country. Thank you man.

  • @southernprideyankee SIR YES SIR

  • I want that jacket.

  • why does the music sounds so familiar?

    reminds me of SOAD

  • @CaseCJJ Scars on Broadway is a SOAD side project. :)

  • he has the same jacket as the guys from

nothing much about ado. but theirs is white

  • ha dude i love this character too! def one of my favorites ever!

  • Ben Foster mastered the piercing gaze of a stone cold gunslinger in this movie.

Just can't think of anyone else in modern day cinema that could have pulled off that character so well.

  • I'm down in Florida, mounted CAS is big where I'm from, but I have a local SASS gunslinger group that does monthly competitions. I'm not a rider, so I could never get into to mounted, but I love to watch it. Just a fan of Cavalry. I hope to get an Uberti 1851 Navy soon, but that would just be for fun, although I could use a pair of them. I just prefer cartridge firearms, I guess. I think the attached wedge mechanism on the old black powders look nicer than open top conversions.

  • The guy who created his jacket said he "leaped at the chance to put the bad guy in white". It's as if Prince's hat and jacket are characters of their own.

  • I love how he holds Wade's hat with such delicate care. He is a vicious heartless murderer yet has the allegiance and loyalty to Wade that he would even hold his hat with respect. So well played. Touche Foster. lol

  • @ShaneKarma376 I agree with you a 100%, his show of loyalty was amazing but i was incredibly disappointed at the end of the film. His outfit came back for him, charlie is hell bent on getting his boss back and then what does wade do in the end kill his loyal gang. It was a great movie but i like to think that charlie hands his hat back to him in the end and gun and the gang rides to mexico. That would of been a better ending.

  • Charlie was the best !

  • It's a crime he didn't get nominated for Best Supporting Actor that year. Im not using hyperbolie when I say that Ben Foster's performance was one of the greatest ever recorded on film. I always wish they could make a prequel and go into detail why he was so in debt to Russel Crowe's character.

  • @ShaneKarma376 That would be epic, he did say "You forgot what he done for us" So charlie is extremely loyal and greatful to whatever wade did for them, i know im playing a broken record but why did wade have to kill charlie and the gang.....they were so great!!!

  • @southernprideyankee Your so right. Grrrr I wish they could make a prequel. Especially now that Hollywood has Foster fever lol. Hes in 6 movies in the next two years. This week his new movie with Jason Statham is out, The Mechanic. What was your single favorite Charlie Prince scene?

  • @ShaneKarma376 I really enjoyed when we first see what a killer he is, when the wagon falls over and he jumps off his horse and starts shooting pinkertons. Im a really big gun collector and charlie princes cross draw AMAZED ME!!!....so i did alot of research and saving and went out and bought my own 2 schofields!!! Forgranted im not bandit nor badass such as charlie but using schofields when practicing or competeing saves a lot of time with reloading vs using colt peacemakers.

  • @southernprideyankee Wow are the Schofields from that time period? Do they still make a similar model as they did then? By cross draw do you mean what he did outside the cave when he says "I hate possees"?

  • @ShaneKarma376 no there not from the time period but i ceratinly wish...A company named uberti makes replica schofields and yes they do work. When i say cross draw i mean you have to cross your arms or cross your firing hand across your waist to draw your weapon and usually when this method is done the butts of the pistols are facing forward, charlie has his rig set up as crossdraw, instead of the traditional method of having the butt of the pistol facing to the back.

  • @southernprideyankee The Schofield was designed and produced in 1871 as a cavalry pistol that was a large caliber and could be handled easily with a single hand while reloading on a horse. Yes they are from this period, carried by Jesse James, Wyatt Earp, etc. They actually outproduced the 1873 colt army until the start of the twentieth century. The crossdraw technique was favored for men carrying longer barreled revolvers, as it was easier to draw and less awkward than the strong side draw.

  • @turboleaf Um thank you but i know all this info already, yes i know that they are from the period i was simply saying that no mine are not authentic orginal schofields, mine are replica schofields. The only downfall i ever saw for the schofield was the 45.schofield it was chambered in. It would of been better if it was chambered in .45 long colt but the colt peacemakers could still shoot 45.schofield, it was the same width as the 45. longcolt. They made alot but 41,000 of them went to russia.

  • @turboleaf I certainly thx you for your input, the one thing that i did not know was the cross draw technique was for guns with longer barrels. Its hard to find small important facts like that. Are you also in the SASS?

  • @southernprideyankee No I'm not but I can't wait to join and start in CAS this summer. I love shooting sports and American history, so I sort of fell upon CAS this past year and it seemed to be a perfect fit. Right now, I'm saving up for a pair of 1873s in 45LC, I'm just a traditionalist. The Schofield is a beautiful iron with so much history, you must be proud to own a pair of Ubertis. One day I'd like a pair, but for now, I'm starting off small.

  • @southernprideyankee Also, how are the schofields for CAS, they seem to require more thumb work due to their size and the position of the cylinder relative to the handle. It shouldn't matter in a tactical sense, but does it slow you down?

  • @turboleaf To be honest with ya i havent used them yet!!! i just joined the SASS and its still winter in wisconsin lol, so ive yet to get to a match and try them out. I use to have Ruger new vaquero peacemakers in 45 LC but i sold them, i use to have 44. new army, a uberti colt walker, 3rd model dragoon and a uberti 36. colt navy but i sold them all but the appeal fo schofields, their mechanics and amazing design were very appealing to me. For their price i certianly hope they serve me well.

  • @turboleaf I certainly wish ya luck and i hope that your peacemakers serve ya well down range :) If ya dont mind me asking where ya doing cowboy action shooting at?

  • what do they call the jacket hes wearing?

  • @nemesisnyc Its actually a Civil War era double breated coat. MAgnolia Clothiers makes a similar replica. Thats the best one I could find.

  • I hate pinkertins!!! charlie prince is the gangsta of his time. my favorite character on this movie and the mosted feared person on the movie. Not only does he put his men in check, that he is loyal to boss to the very end like me..

  • UNF. He's so gorgeous.

  • Great video. 3:10 to Yuma is a great movie. Charlie is my favorite character in this whole movie.

  • love the video VoodooVakka! Prince was deffo my fav character in the film!

  • This is a really well done video! I like how edited the scenes together. Creative choice in music too. It all fits together like clockwork, if you ask me.

  • the only thing that bothers me with this movie was that when he shot the 2 posse members (after shooting the first one) he crosses hes arms like shoots the right guy with his left hand and left guy with his right hand, but after shooting them hes pointing left gun at left and right gun at right so that was a little bit stupid.

  • One of the best supporting characters ever. Both the script and the acting of Ben Foster are nearly perfect!

  • GREAT vid. (fans self) My favorite character as well. Good song choice for Charlie.

  • why Ben foster have not movies like the main caracter, he is one of the best I ever seen, in this movie he splashed the caracter with a little salt and pepper of being gay, which is a great intriguing thing.

  • @ilgrandeamoremio what are you talking about?

  • @ilgrandeamoremio I never understand why people confuse loyalty for being gay...Thumbs down my friend :(

  • what's his real name? i would love to watch another of his movies

  • @fleahoffman Ben Foster ;)

  • @VoodooVakka thank you very much i will look for more movies

  • @fleahoffman Ben Foster = Pandorum, 3:10 to Yuma, Alpha Dog, The Messenger, Bang bang youre dead, Get over it and X-men the last stand (angel) just to name some of his Roles & movies

  • @ADCVirgo Thank you much i love his work, is a very talent young actor.

  • @fleahoffman You need to see the Messanger if you like him man. Another amazing performance by Foster.

  • His holsters are backwards lol

  • That was quite a common technique. Reversed holsters for faster weapon draw.

  • @tacticaltaco And today also. I wear mine on my belt holster backwards.

  • @tacticaltaco how do reversed holsters make it faster ?

  • @tacticaltaco Yup, operating along one of the same principles that inspired the thigh holster: a draw by a farther extension of the arm is faster and easier, as the range of motion is less cramped than what is necessary for a hip holster. Of course, the excessive amount of motion necessary to draw on a cross-draw holster renders it impractical and inefficient in today's world.

  • @tacticaltaco I actually draw back-handed like in the video. It's because I am ambidextrous. that might have a part in it. The reversed holster technique is used so the weight of the revolver would be pointing up, not down, so it won't fall out of it's holster while riding horseback.

  • @M0rganKane people would often reverse there pistol holsters when carrying duel pistols... it makes it easier to draw both hands...

  • All his gestures are extremely beautiful and... thoughtful... Great combination of music and video! Thank you so much, VoodooVakka!

  • I'm glad that you like it!! :)
