I used this for Dracula's 2nd form as an homage to Simon Belmont. Needless to say, Jonathan put foot to Dracula's ass swiftly while Charlotte nagged at him from off screen.
As for your case for Simon Belmont in the next Smash Brothers: MegaMan should also be included. The Capcom property was licensed to Nintendo for the first 7 installments of the original saga and the first 3 installments of the X saga. Belmont and the Blue Bomber!
@doarner That's Ayami Kojima's artwork for Castlevania. I think ever since it's impact alongside Symphony Of the Night, it became somewhat of a landmark, and so did the androgynous character designs for the characters.
I personally love her work, and it really fits the universe of Castlevania. But I admit, it's not for everyone, such as yourself.
@Primus2X You can buy it from the... guy on the Store, and select it in your inventory. BTW you need to finish the game to get the stereo or sumthing to play the disc. Then enjoy

@sonicfreak1992 My personal favourite thing about it is how there's more than just the castle. There are places like London where you fight a werewolf, an evil academy with Frankenstien's monster and a buried pyramid with the Mummy to name a few. Also I like the way Brauner looks similar to Count Orlok. Where does this theme play btw?

Trevor was the ultimate warrior for being the first one who destroyed dracula at his full power but he didnt do it alone
Simon was so badass that he killed dracula twice without any help and in his second battle he was injured by dracula´s curse and still manage to defeat him

Classic barbaric Simon looks like an entirely different character from Ayami Kojima's version. Think she should've tried to strike somewhere between that look and her version and made him look like Simon. She was able to pull of a Richter very well, don't know how she messed up on Simon.

@RXgamers Simon is not a nintendo property character. He is developed by konami. They would have to pay konami to be able to borrow their character to be in a smashbros series. Mugen is the onliest way for that to happen! LOL!
@bisexualbuffthug Snake and Sonic got away with being in Brawl and there Sega and Konami. Simon can be in the next Smash Bros because CastleVania is licensed by Nintendo so it can be played on it's systems. So did Metal Gear and Sonic. So it probably won't happen but you can't say it's not possible.

@dazzsheil Metal Gear Solid was on the Gamecube with Twin Snakes, and soon the 3DS gets a remake of Snake Eater, so MGS isn't limited to Playstation, never has been.

The version of Vampire Killer you're thinking of was on the MSX, I'm not even sure if the Amiga ever even came out in Japan...and also that game was in development at the same time as the NES Castlevania, and was released a month later. The original-original version of Castlevania is the Famicom Disk System version, which is pretty much identical to the cart version everybody knows. ^O^
@huevonesunltd something someting all stars I think..I have it. It's pretty fun, a lot more simplistic than Smash bros though. Still, it's cool playing as Solid Snake, Optimus Prime, Bomberman, and Simon Belmont all in the same game.

Well, my point is that Simon was the first Belmont; in the first Castlevania ever made. So if there's no Simon Belmont, there's no other Belmonts. Does anyone get my point? =P
Leon Belmont is first. His story happened in 1094. He is the ancestor of Trevor who's story happened in 1476. VapourXY's point is that Simon Belmont was in the first Castlevania game making him the first Belmont to be created. Chronologically Leon is the first known Belmont.
Richter''s story takes place in 1792. 101 years after Simon's first adventure. Richter comes after Juste. His story happened in 1748. Making him the father or grandfather of Richter. I hope this clears up any confusion on the timeline.

Further evidence is that they said it was the last Belmont to use the whip, Richter had it in the end of the 1700's, then Nathan Graves killed Dracula in the 1800's with the Hunter's Whip, and then a more distant relative, John Morris (Jonathan's Father/Quincy Morris' son) had it. Making Ricther the last one to wield it against Dracula.
@talshow89 No, That was 55 years after Jonathan Morris had it. Richter was the last Belmont before it was passed to the Morris'. Portrait of Ruin takes place in 1944.
@StriderHiryu1200 Juste Belmont could do that in Harmony of Dissonance and Nathan Graves could do something similar in Circle of the Moon. Jonathan Morris, though not a Belmont, could that too once he got the right skill.
Dude man. Richter can move whip his whip around in any direction,but Simon could whip vertical, horizontally he can throw his whip around slanted or whatever it is that is what i mean.
Julius was able to do so because of the increased power of the Vampire Killer. Not saying Julius is unworthy, in fact the opposite. But by only getting the blessing of the Belnades, could he kill Dracula.
Wait, I thought that Julius cut off Drac's regenerations, by sealing Vampire Killer in Castlevania to weaken Dracula's powers, and then the church sealed Castlevania in the Eclipse to totally cut off Drac's soul from it. So both of them did equal work on that.
nope, thats a mistake. alucard and some guys from the church and the hakuba-shrine sealed castlevania into the solar-eclipse. that cut off draculas resurecction powers. julius finally killed him but left the whip in the castle in order to weaken the power of the castle which is the key of draculas power (at least a little bit of it). but graham jones was able to absorb all of draculas power in 2035. but of course he can not control it.
I am pretty sure of it. because genya says that the castle is the key to draculas resurrection power. so julius must have killed dracula AFTER sealing castlevania into the solar eclipse. but maybe I am wrong. I just about to quit AoS again to be 100% sure
Well, he seems to be the only Belmont to master the art of 8 directional attacks (super Castlevania) so yes, he's probably the most skilled with the whip.
Actually, Christopher killed Dracula twice. Still not as hardcore has Simon, who killed Dracula, then brought him back to life so he could kill him again xD
@Astaroth42 That's because the games Christopher were in were NES to Gameboy Ports, which were infamous for making a lot of changes to the game, and they ended up making a different character.
I'd say Juste deserves the "Greatest Five" title because he could use magic spells, do that dash thing in either direction meaning he was pretty much the fastest Belmont, and managed to beat Maxim (a friggin' NINJA).

Leon Belmont is first. His story happened in 1094. He is the ancestor of Trevor who's story happened in 1476. VapourXY's point is that Simon Belmont was in the first Castlevania game making him the first Belmont to be created. Chronologically Leon is the first known Belmont.

Further evidence is that they said it was the last Belmont to use the whip, Richter had it in the end of the 1700's, then Nathan Graves killed Dracula in the 1800's with the Hunter's Whip, and then a more distant relative, John Morris (Jonathan's Father/Quincy Morris' son) had it. Making Ricther the last one to wield it against Dracula.

The only game where Simon Belmont can whip is whip around in any direction the other belmonts couldn't do that. Simon was the best.. and fun.

Julius was able to do so because of the increased power of the Vampire Killer. Not saying Julius is unworthy, in fact the opposite. But by only getting the blessing of the Belnades, could he kill Dracula.

Wait, I thought that Julius cut off Drac's regenerations, by sealing Vampire Killer in Castlevania to weaken Dracula's powers, and then the church sealed Castlevania in the Eclipse to totally cut off Drac's soul from it. So both of them did equal work on that.

nope, thats a mistake. alucard and some guys from the church and the hakuba-shrine sealed castlevania into the solar-eclipse. that cut off draculas resurecction powers. julius finally killed him but left the whip in the castle in order to weaken the power of the castle which is the key of draculas power (at least a little bit of it). but graham jones was able to absorb all of draculas power in 2035. but of course he can not control it.

The eclipse sealing happened after he killed Drac and sealed Vampire Killer in the castle.

I am pretty sure of it. because genya says that the castle is the key to draculas resurrection power. so julius must have killed dracula AFTER sealing castlevania into the solar eclipse. but maybe I am wrong. I just about to quit AoS again to be 100% sure

Well, he seems to be the only Belmont to master the art of 8 directional attacks (super Castlevania) so yes, he's probably the most skilled with the whip.
