i agree it's an age thing... my favs are 1/ scum and long good friday... crying game was good too.

i feel these films are good but not the best britain made. Some of these choices strike me as like getting ride of the godfather for resorvoire dogs or getting ride of vertigo for blue velvate for americans. these are good films but just not the best ever. It's not the best british film unless you have the thrid man, brief encounter, kind hearts and coronets, if..., kes, the servant, whisky galore, red shoes, don't look now, or thr bridge on the river kwai sorry but thats what i think.
