Thanks for uploading this! We sang this at our elementary school graduation in '72..so i feel like so old but this song never fails to encourage me and cheer me up. I grew up going to church camp and this song was always my favorite. I am 56 years old now and have not heard it in years. The music is absolutely beautiful but what is even more wonderful is the fact that I now truly know the meaning of the words. We serve an awesome God! Thank you for posting this. @delugerrpg - nah, I'm too amazed that so many people seem to love it the way it is. I made the video to teach a choir I was directing this song and by having a "karaoke video" to practice with at home, they learned it very quickly. But maybe someday I will use just the audio and sing to it! :D

IT was around 1980 or 1981 when I was in sixth grade at a Evangel Christian school in Louisville Kentucky...my music teaher Ms Moore taught this song to us...it was a class favorite...and still one of mine....soooo glad to see it posted here...thank you for bringing back such a wonderful memory. :)

Hi, suzy! I shared it on facebook. Thanks! It reminded me of my years as a student in my gala uniform singing with the whole grade school at Our Lady of Grace Church Caloocan City, Philippines. That was in the 70s and this song is the most nostalgic but the most wonderful to listen to. Even without the lyrics.
