What if you don't want an electric garage door? How do I replace a regular old garage door?

If you spray a penetrant (like wd-40) on the rollers, it will thin out the heavy grease already there and the bearings will experience quick friction leading to rapid failure. Telling people to use a solvent where heavy grease has already been injected-do not believe everything u read.

@nactap NOT in the least! The main tension spring is nothing to mess around with. About 8 years ago my boss tried to do a repair on his and it ripped off the entire left side of his face and almost killed him. Also, a good friend of mine ended up losing his entire thumb and tip of his index finger with permanent nerve damage. You had better know damn well what you are doing, or have a professional attend to the main tension spring.
