  • So cool ! Loudness !

  • Roudness

  • What a great solo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • seen them in vegas a few months back , they still kick major azz.

  • AKIRA TAKASAKI-Guitarist....and MUNETAKA HIGUCHI-drummer...is the dynamic duo of LOUDNESS

  • Comment removed

  • yeah, i saw them blow motley crue off the stage on theatre of pain. 1985. akira takasaki wow!!!!!

  • great vid but :( the drummer died :(

  • @TheIronlogan the bassist from the early 90's died recently too. Taiji Sawada.

  • thanks Henry 4737 for this info!

  • @LTBiermacht Disillusion is better, and King Of Pain is really good too :)

  • tomorrow they perform in Malaysia..but why tomorrow..i got a lot works to do..kisama

  • true music..

  • japanese metal god samurai- you guys kicked ass ( late 80's hollywood bowl) domo!

  • Very nice Jap metal.

  • The only reason I even had the privilege of listening to Loudness came via Eddie Guzman turning me onto them in 1988. They were supposed to play at BackStageLive in San Antonio, Texas this Saturday 5/28/11 but the show was cancelled, THAT SUCKS !

  • they are the most under rated HMband.

  • hope to see these dudes in phoenix

  • i hope ths legend of heavy metal are alive after the incident radiioactivity!

  • @maidenmacfly they are coming to Malaysia soon

  • used to rock this in a 1980 cutlass supreme

  • The only part that really bugs me in this song is the heavy keyboards. I *think* it's Tod Howarth (Frehley's Comet)-- they thank him in the liner notes.

  • @KirneH004 Greg Giuffria

  • great band...did Giuffria write some of their songs?

  • The song is great, but I'm not fond of WW2 reference and Japanese and US car industry in this video.

  • the best rock song from the 80's

  • The coolest solo which is played from true feeling(:

  • can't find his comment But dumbdick thinks they soldout Because

they appealed to American Audiance. SO! many people learned about loudness from their Videos & their 85 - 88 is their Best stuff. of course old Loudness is Great & so was the veresca lps BUT even in 90's with Masaki had some good songs

  • Such a great song, the best on this album! Thanks for sharing this brave classic. Loudness was the best Japanese heavy metal band together with 'X Japan'. ばんざい! ^_^

  • Comment removed

  • This band totally sold out. This sounds like some Quiet Riot drivel.

  • @DickLodge68 what the Fuck are you talking about?

this is 1987! LOUDNESS was at their peak.

the music since the reunion is sellout stuff.

  • @Raymasaki 1987? Who cares? Thunder in the East was when Loudness sold out to the "appeal" to American audiences. TinE had a couple good songs there too. But nothing compared to my favorite, "Law of Devil's Land" released in '83. They sold out...and by 1987, were nothing more than a Quiet Riot song with Akira's flurry of a solo.

  • Ce clip, je l'ai vu quand j'avais cinq ans et je tenais absolument à le rtrouver: quellle claque!

Des riffs puissants, une énergie vire voltante, un chant qui vous perce le coeur: vive Loudness!!!

  • @LTBiermacht In terms of going commercial I agree with you... think about it. Really mainly there U.S. releases(English) are all pretty good. I've actually always thought the same , Hurricane Eyes rocks!

  • Fuck you today's music!!! 80's rules!! BEST

  • 3:54 AC/DC xD

  • GREAT BAND! Hope the come back to USA SOON!

  • i love this band since i love heavy metal

  • cooooooool....:)

  • I can't understand a word the vocalist says in any of the new albums, what happened to his voice? age i guess...

  • It's the rising sun flag and used for the military the flag with just the red circle is the national flag.

  • この訳の判らないセンスが80年代ですかね。良い曲が台無し............という気も。

  • the best band from the 80's, especially this song

  • i love the riff at the start of the song^^

  • awsom song and video, one of the greatest guitarist, you think?

  • great band...great singer""!!!

  • ひぐっさんのタイコもう聞けないんだよね。

  • That guitarist is the shit...

  • this shit is awesome....

  • That old Japanese flag scare me. I am Japanese and some of us feel the same as me.

  • YEAH.. Agreed with MaFFej.. This is the time I got into them.. i play this tape till it ripped.. thank god for cd..

  • Legendary band!!

  • I remember this band. they just flat assed rocked!!!!!

  • Holy crap. I've missed out on this great band for almost 25 years. So talented.

  • solo rips period!

  • Me and the guys in my band still jam this song during our rehearsals.

It's still great fun to play.

These poor guys were so damn under-rated here in the U.S.

  • @Fretslayer at least you had friends that liked them, all my socalled Metalhead Friends didn't Like Loudness. i saw this video in 1987 & instantly became a Fan

  • @Raymasaki IMO part of the problem Loudness had here in the U.S market was a two fold issue. 1) People like the other guy screaming they sold out. That type of fan wouldn't listen to the stuff like this because it's beneath them and their 'I heard of them first ...blah blah blah...' shit. (2) There was a lot of animosity between the U.S and Japan at the time so the 'Proud ta be'a Marakin!' crowd refused to accept these guys. But those of us who got it back then... We really GOT it. :) \m/

  • @Fretslayer yeah thats why it was good they made Videos.

hey they wanted more fans to hear their Music. & YES we who liked them were Good at knowing what a Great Band was, BUT veresca joined them & they will still not really popular. & hey Diamond Rexx, Toxic, Lizzy Borden, i could go on. are ALL American Bands that didn't make it Big either.

  • @Raymasaki I liked Vescara in Obsession but when he joined Loudness I was sort of put off by that. I like the 'classic' lineup much better. :)

  • @Fretslayer Blame Max Norman. He got Minoru fired.

  • @KirneH004 The sick thing about that (if it's true) is that while Vescarea was a good singer for Obsession, IMO he was not the right guy for Loudness. Taking the Japanese lead vocalist out of the 'Japanese Metal Band' was as stupid as replacing the lead vocalist in Girl School. Loudness isn't Loudness without Minoru's vocals. IMO, anyway.

  • @Fretslayer Right after Mike quit or was fired, Akira got Masaki Yamada from EZO. He was the singer from '94 to '01. There were a few lineup changes from '94 to '01 then Masaki suggested that Akira get the originals all back together. :)

  • @KirneH004 Thanks for the cool info. :)

  • Comment removed

  • @Fretslayer The one I blame most is Max Norman (producer). He didn't like Minoru, so he told ATCO to tell the band they'd be dropped if they didn't fire him.

I am SO glad Minoru is back.

  • @Fretslayer WHAT´S THE NAME OF YOUR BAND???

  • @Fretslayer They should still be an arena band in the States-- their new material is ten trillion tons heavier and better written than a lot of American "metal" now.

  • @KirneH004 In one hand, you're right... In the other, well... 90% of the songs done by 'The Muppets' are heavier and better written than most of the current American 'metal. LOL!!!!

  • @Fretslayer There are a few young American metal bands that are at least good. Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed come to mind. Otep is great, but I can't make up my mind if she's metal or not.

  • this the first loudness song i eveheard and watched

  • this is the best song from the 80s

  • Blackie Lawless much?

  • video is awsome

  • this song still sounds awsome after all these years

  • This Band and ezo are great japanese metal bands, they are just great.

  • That flag of the Rising sun got Japan in a Whole lot of Trouble back in the day.

The are allies of the West Now!

     God Bless Our Japanese Friends!

Loudness Ruled in their time and even now, not too many acts come close!

  • Thanks for sharing this video man. I saw these guys in San Diego when they first came to USA. Wow, thanks for a memory. Rock on Loudness!!!!

  • Great video, and song.

  • That solo was sick! Thanks for the upload.

  • Great Band from the 80´s ! It was a great time....

  • AWESOME! Brings back some memories, don't it?

  • Great song...awesome band.

  • Agreed!

  • ラウドネス roxx..

  • LOUDNESS KICK ASS.

  • Today's j-metal aren't all posers. Check out Galneryus (syu is like akira jr) and Sex Machineguns. And don't forget about Anthem who are still producing awesome music after 20 years.

  • bueno

  • I like the 80 to but every generation has their own favorits, that like that!! Love them

  • Sorry 1987, Got that.

    What about the vox?

  • You know the drummer passed away. RIP.

    Is this the original vox?

    What year was this released?

  • akari is the pioneer of japanese shred metal and loudness is the japanese metal that rocked the world

  • Saw them at Lamour in Brooklyn NY in the summer of 1984 when they first came over here. I remember the drummer being very good and of course Akira.

  • there 80's stuff was the best, their 90's post thrast pantera/sleaze styled stuff was over produced and cheasy, and the stuff they play today, is jus a=isnt that good 80's will always be the greatest period for metal unless the old styles from then make a xcomeback another time

  • I was so high on this band back in the day. I was a Sophmore in high school and was so captivated by Loudness and Akira's guitar solos! OMG! check out Akira at 2:30- powerful stuff, and this is one of their most commercial hits.

  • rock .....yeah....

  • I would guess filmed in California in the dessert...

  • I think thats one of the coolest guitar shapes but it seems its not too popular these days. ;\

  • へヴィメタルの最高傑作!!!

    曲、スタイル、全て完璧です。

    かっこええ。

  • good song. just added it to my favorites

  • Love this song so much.

  • I totally totally totally totally totally (1,000,000,000,000,000x) agree

  • Who's the director of this videoclip..i'm wondering where it was shot??? I've a pretty good idea where it's been shot....just want to be sure!!!

I've seen this clip years ago on french Tv one night.. but i didn't remember the name of the band , thanks to google and the internet...

    It ROCKSSSS

  • There so fuckin cool... I used to listen to this album with my friends all the time back in the 80s. No one does it like Loudness. The new bands now arnt interesting. No one knows how to practice anymore. The new players dont have the awareness and creativity to write and perform like this anymore... Theyed be scared to attempt something like this.

  • yer man damn right most styles today are engaged by kids just coz its modern if its old no ones will recomend it or admit to it i knwo this coz im suroudned by it, throughout my whole youth today im 18 people have always been that way and when i mention my taste of 80's metal they try to take little notice when i talk about guitarists liek akira, george lynch, evh, and all those legends it sucks alott coz i listen and play this music i love by myself :(

  • @chisslum Sylosis, Children of Bodom, Nevermore, Tyr, Norther, Ensiferum, Arch Enemy, Triosphere(very eighties sounding as well as good solos), shit even the new crap coming from Amoral(search Year of the Suckerpunch). Just because this song/band is old doesn't mean you have to justify it's faded appeal with trashing newer bands. Maybe in the early 90's you could get away with that. We just don't like a lot of that singing crap, ya know?

  • @bedofrazorsqwerty Children Of Bodom? go paint you fingernails you lonely fag

  • @pastuiedada Ouch. Right in the feelings. It hurts so bad. You really got me on that one. amishrakefight(dot)org/gfy/

  • @bedofrazorsqwerty Sarcasm doesn't work in text. Anyway you must be some 16 year old high schooler so I've no reason to respond, if by some off chance you aren't, well goddamn you sure are stupid then.

  • @pastuiedada Good job again, Mr. Blanket Statement.

    "Sarcasm doesn't work in text."

This sentence in contradictory. I'm sure you can see this.

I can tell you don't make a very high salary.

  • i think the teenagers n0wadays sh0uld l00k back t0 the 80's R0ck...When LOUDNESS RULES. the n0wadays music genre SUCKS!!! don't ya agreed?

  • I totally agree.

  • nah..i really feel that teenagers nowadays should brainwash themselves with this kind of music..Ah go fuckin' with damn hiphop, modern rocks and crappy britney things..

  • ur right im a teen and i luv 80's music its awesome Loudness is my fave 80s metal band they rock

  • ok..you should check out VIXEN too..they are also rocks!! this female rock band really good.

  • ok..you should check out VIXEN too.. this female rock band really hit in the 80's!!

  • I love this song, Loudness rules, i love them :)

  • the song that really inspires me...especially the HINOMARU flag as their background...LONG LIVE LOUDNESS!!!!!

  • These guys and Vow Wow kicked ass better than most of our own bands from back then. Nice seeing and hearing them again after 20 years +

  • Anyone know where I can download their music? can't find it anywhere.

  • metal was so much better then than the fuckin shit it is now

  • Amen brother, there is no metal anymore with the exception of Maiden.

  • and Priest.

  • Hmm... they don't sound like most metal bands but certain songs of Dir en Grey are metal.

  • japanese metal bands nowadays just poser..they cannot beat the legendary LOUDNESS. this video clip prove it..BANZAI!! LOUDNESS RULEZ!!

  • the j-metal bands nowadays are just poser..no one guitarist did like AKIRA, no bands can beat the legendary LOUUDNESS. this clip prove it..BANZAI!! LOUDNESS RULEZ!!

  • Um? metal are posers? so you're trying to tell me bands like Galneryus and Sex Machineguns are just posers? you're a moron. I like 80's just as much as any other person but saying metal sucks these days because it's different is just ignorant. Look up those two bands if you don't believe me.

  • I wish loudness would play more inspired music like 20 years ago

  • What's amazing is that Steve Johnsted, David Glen Eisley of Giuffria, and Tod Howarth of Frehley's Comet helped on background vocals on Hurricane Eyes.

  • really?

  • Yes. It said so on the liner notes of Hurricane Eyes.

  • Yes, the liner notes on Hurricane Eyes also confirmed that helped on translating their lyrics to English.

  • Yes.

  • loudness were never THRASH so shut up

  • Yep they WERE never thrash - that's true, just speed metal, Now they ARE also not thrash but something similar, almost-thrash so i used term "neo-thrash". And try to be kind...

  • Thank you for your words of truth

  • heh...

  • bullshit.

  • @danowar1989 lrn2music, Akira does toss in a decent bit of thrash influence into some of their music

  • I don't know, I saw them in NYC recently. Old and new songs were amazing the crowd went absolutely berzerk for them. Even me who only new this particular song by them. I don't know why I never searched out more. They're amazing. I am a member of Exciter from Canada, we may be hitting Japan, I hope we get a chance to play with them someday. THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!!!

  • Great album, song & Band,

Yeah the new stuff is heavy & slow.

NOT Thrash.. all Loudness fans prefer the origanal sound

  • Yep, new Loudness' sound isn't "real" thrash but neo/post-thrash. Slow? "Terror" - yest but albums like "Racing", few songs from other albums ("The End of Earth") are FAST AS SHARK ;). I agree - old Loudness (especially four first albums) is best.

  • I don't know, I saw hem recently in NYC and the entire crowd went berzerk for them, even myself, disregarding the fact that this particular song was the only song I knew by them. I am a member of Exciter (Canada) and we're possibly hitting Japan this coming year, I'm hoping to get a chance to meet them, maybe even get booked with them.

  • LONG LIVE LOUDNESS!!!

  • awesome!

  • Pure class!

  • thats funny I forgot all about these guys. I havent heard them since like high school. they kicked ass.

  • These dude freakin rule!

  • Damn I hope Akira didn't burn his guitar at the end! I would kill for that guitar!!
