@thesithlord45 your not the only person who owns both games i do also, and i play both of them, and i enjoy both of them. but your arguement isnt from a competitive standpoint if your reasoning is that halo is set in the future. that has nothing to do with competitive. and yeah the assault rifle is pretty useless but so is the cod snipers, lmgs, and shotguns in competitive, so halo has far less "useless" guns. its in a whole other league from a balance standpoint

@7Metallikamp7 in terms of balance yes you have a point. but halo has shields. it going to be balance from that alone, it takes a while to kill people in general or at least it does unless you use a sniper or a instant kill weapon. in CoD most of the guns can kill a man instantly regardless of health. plus its all situational. your not going to use a long range sniper at close range like in halo cause you can in halo. same goes for shotguns. indoors tight spaces only. you can just run at them.

first off just because you kill someone doesnt mean you know they had the bomb unless its a close range battle and juggernaut made it so you could survive 1 more bullet and was negated by stopping power most of the time in halo you cant just go rambo like you can pull off sometimes in CoD because if you keep getting in BR fights youll get called out and get picked off when your weak in cod you can get called out but you have a higher chance of killing people when your weak halo is just harder

@saxano There are many variables in this comparison. For one, in halo 3, there are no perks. Everyone is always the same and cannot be differentiated because of perks. For instance, in modern warfare 2, you run exactly the same speed you do when you grab the flag. You can also shoot your gun. In Halo, you go slower when you handle a flag, and you cannot shoot your weapon. So in halo, one must devise strategies such as what route to run the flag in/who grabs which power weapons to cover him.
