  • just was looking on youtube i dont see any reviews on customworks rc so hope too see some lol thanks for your time

  • would love for you guys to check it out and let me know what you think they focas on dirttrack racing only just search customworks rc should come up i think the owner or part owner is nascar driver tony stewart so they should have some good things in store they already look like great cars i just want a 8th scale they only sale 10 scales i here the 8th scale is fading away in dirt track racing dont know if thats true should have told you im new to late model not nitro engines thnks for all reply

  • @jonathonmking1 I actually interviewed Tony right after he purchased Custom Works. I've had the opportunity to talk to him a few times since, he's a great guy and has a huge passion for RC.

  • Just was wondering for someone getting into the sport would you go with the losi or the custom work nitro rocket i live in north lousisana and race on loose dirt thanks for your help love the vids

  • @jonathonmking1 I'm not familiar with the Custom Works car, sorry. I will say for starting out I would lean electric more than nitro though.

  • Just wondering do any of you guys know if they are discontinuing this roller the guy at my local hobby shop said they were thanks ..............

  • @jonathonmking1 It has not been discontinued.

  • I thought this was nitro

  • @Zaper692 It is

  • Do you have a review on the OFNA late model? And, which one do you believe is better? Thanks.

  • @Faultyjoe Have not reviewed one, sorry. I've seen guys be successful with both however the L8IGHT Model is better equipped out of the box.

  • does this ever come rtr?

  • @airsoftfreaks13 There has not been an RTR version

  • @airsoftfreaks13 so this total invesment would not be nessasary for a teenager? isnt it over 1,000 dollars?

  • that is to much money to put into a rc car why put that much money in to one????????

  • @rcsage7 It's a hobby, it's what we spend time doing and love to do. Look at folks that go out and spend thousands of dollars on musical instruments, gaming systems, computers, etc. It's all relative.

  • @HorizonRCdotCom Can you answer this....WWhat is better? a 8ight 2.0 race roller buggy converted to a late model, or starting with the late model roller from the start?..thanks

  • what servos should i get. im going to get a spectrum somethin that is like 99$. if u no wat im talkin bout does it come with a steering servo? and do all electronics work with each other.

  • awesome car lov it, They should make this RTR

  • 1/8 scale dirt oval would be sweet , but off road is better and takes more skill.

  • It doesn't take more skill, just different ones. Trust me 1/8-scale oval is much harder than it looks.

  • awesome thanks for replying buddy

i got the ofna 1 and my buddy got the losi version same motor and stuff just wanted to get ur opinion on them lol thanks again buddy take care

  • how do u feel bout the Ofna Late Model campaired to the Losi Late model

  • I haven't seen one up close personally. I know that OFNA's gear is normally decent but no idea on that car, sorry.

  • danville il???

  • Yup :)

  • I can't wait to run with Lee in Joplin,MO Oct 17th, it's going to be a BLAST!!!!!

  • what chassis does this use? truggy or buggy? or something else

  • Buggy, based on the 8IGHT

  • Id like to see one of these set up with brushless and lipo.

  • It would rip, that's for sure!

  • i am thinking of doing that.

  • which is better the Dx3s or Dx3r

  • dx3r uses the latest dsm2 technology so yeah..

  • they upgraded the dx3rs so it use the same technology as dx3r

  • that is 1 nice set up...i do think you went really overboard on the servos...i mean do u really need that much tourque and speed for that ....you would of been fine with a regular digital servo and a 2s rx pack with a bec overall nice car, nice setup nice driving 5/5

  • No argument that the JR HV's are a bit overkill for this application. I've had them for awhile and wanted to test them in something however and this was the perfect application. And just to correct something you'd use a Voltage Regulator, not a BEC with a LiPo receiver pack and standard servos but I did know what you meant.

  • o i understand then lol,o because ive seen/heard people using castle creations bec in their buggys etc and using a lipo reciever pack to keep the voltege lower...but im building a 8ight-t 2.0 and was looking at those servos would you recomend them more than a futuaba bl servo?

  • Absolutely. First of all you can't touch JR's 3 year warranty. No-one else comes close. Secondly they speed and precision of these servos is awesome. There have been some rumors as well that certain drivers who will remain unnamed to protect their sponsorship deals have taken JR servos, pulled the badging off and put their Sponsor's Servo decal on the case.

  • o man i didnt know they had a 3 year warrenty..i think im going to go with them..and man i cant believe they would but different brand servos and put them in their sponsors case

  • as much as they like to claim that...in reality its the other way around....a Wise racer once took pics of all the Top guys vehicles at a Big Wig race and sure as Shi* they were not the brands they were sponsored by.

  • nice

  • i want one!
