the german version I listend to was from Jana Werner, her voice is more close to Emmy Rossum,(I mean sounds younger than this above) but natürlich finde ich auch Jana besser als Emmy ist.

well, that s right :-) Jana Werne is more like Emily Rossum (probably that s why she things in the german version of the movie ;-) ) ..but in general I prefere Luzias voice as Chrsitine, because her voice has more volume - it fits better in my opinion...

Yes, you´re right. Some of the songs are from a CD i own too. But not every song is from THIS CD. The Version of the DVD is the Best performance ever.

Her voice is completely beautiful. All of their voices are great. Her cadenza at the end was heavenly even though her notes weren't held for very long. This is the German cast from the stage cd, correct? It doesn't sound like the movie soundtrack.

My search ("gerard butler" phantom erik) returns a German cast. I don't speak German, but I do speak POTO. That sounded like an exceptional cast. So, if there is a "much better cast" then I suggest booking them for the states. Hell, I would love to see and listen to, this lesser cast in the above video. However, somehow I think you're downgrading the quality of singers here.
