The trick to the shot is having that large # of balls in front of the cue ball, the more mass the cue ball is hitting into the faster it can draw back. Try it some time - do draw with 1 ball, then try it against several frozen on eachother, or better yet try drawing off the break, its way more intense than drawing against a single shot.

This is not as impossible as it seems people. by freezing 3 balls to the cue ball to provide resistance for the cueball and stroking straight through them all with low left or right hand spin its almost easy to get this kind of spin without even shooting hard.(old Mosconi shot) See Brynes book of Trickshots Page 140 for more info.Combining it with Masseys circular draw shot is clever though. When you try it, polish the cueball with ArmorAll every few shots.New cloth and a decent tip helps too.
