Activision I guess got the rights for guitar hero so then came rock band from harmonix... As for dj hero... Well that too was made by activision... So uh... They all lived happily after. Oh except for konami... Their guitar game was hardly heard of... The end :)

the crossfader makes your brain work harder to remember what side its on and what side in needs to go, thats why its a bitch to 5* groundhog on medium and above, but at least it tests your hand eye cordination :) and the controler is more confortable than the guitar so I can stand playing the game longer. 2 thumbs up from me! :D

I've rented games that needed a peripheral to work and they just hand it over with the game when you rent it. I don't see why this would have been any different. I figure the video stores are trying to save money anyway since they are hurting, they probably just didn't want to deal with this and its original $120.00 price tag.

They mean the crossfader has a tendency to be extremely sensitive (Which is normally good on Expert). That said, Accidently moving it *just* past the middle when returning can throw it to the other side. Though some practice can almost completely eliminate this, I kinda agree. The middle resting place should have alittle more resistance.

I wouldn't agree with this game purely being a pay. To fans of the current stream of rhythm games, 'pay' says it's worth getting, but on the whole it's marketed to a whole different type of music fan then GH or RB. Plus, the cost of the deck and space it takes up needs to be concidered and unless you got a special edition of the game where it came with it's own stand you need something to lean it on where you would feel comfortable using it while still being able to see the tv.

DJ Hero isn't focused on rap/hip hop. Most of the songs are pop and techno mixed with rap and rock. I haven't played any other mix games, but I think this will be great to have. Closes thing to feeling like a DJ.
