hey i belive u and i know its in there in the torah because god made everything and the world is going to bless u all of u pepole that talk crap about him have no repect for him so just dont wright anthing
Great!!! So let me get this straight? Mexicans/Mayans could predict the world calendar in 2012 ending, but it took A Jewish Rabbi around the globe to figure out the Swine Flu/Plague existed in the bible?
It is in the book of Numbers. The letter on the most right side is "dalet" and it stands for "Bamidbar" (Numbers). He said that, you didn't listen good...Also learn some Hebrew, it could help you..
yknow this guy could at least tell us which part of the bible this code was in-couldnt tell in the least-all he said was the torah and pointed to some numbers on the screen for the verse as if that tells us
sooo... if i do feel i belive in god but sometimes things in the bible feel outlandish or fake or over-the-top does that make me like a half athiest or something?
Your key word search needs to be broadened. Mexico is not the problem. Washington is the problem. This has to do with power and control. The swine flu is man made, as was aids. Start with a basic topic like Kaiser Permanente infecting hasidic men in New York amoung other ethnic groups in the late 80's, early 90's. Stop being an indian shaman reading tea leaves and stop covering this stuff with a veil of religion. Its gives the bastards cover and there's nothing mystical about it.
Humans are pretty predictable. Making predictions of wars and all is like shooting fish in a barrel. Predicting that there will be a war is no big thing. Predicting where a war will be is no big deal, predicting when a war will be is a little something. Putting them all together to give the where, when & who is something that no one seems to have done ahead of the events yet. So, until then, I'm still out on this one. It's interesting but, not until you can tell facts ahead of time that pan out.
Athiests mock "believers" for believing in God in the abcense of proof. But they also believe that the Big Bang is what gave us everything we have to day. Every particle of matter is thus locked into it's trajectory and taking away every notion of "choice" that these athiest believe they have. Meanwhile, they still have no problem mocking 'believers' that they personally believe have no choice in the matter. Maybe athiests should be complaining about the Big Bang instead of God.
Amen is right. Atheists say that there's no reason to believe in something until there's proof. But then they assume they have Freewill without proof. Scientifically speaking, it's impossible to have Freewill in a material universe where physical laws dictate matter. So a brin would also be slave to cause/effect. Me being a theist would have been inevitable, so mocking me would be rediculous. But if our souls are remotely controlling these bodies from another realm, then Freewill works.
I forget which philosopher said it, but he question all of existance, but he found that he could at least prove he existed, he asked himself "who was doing the doubting? So he concluded "I doubt, thereofore I am". But now why can it not be said "Iam, therefore God is"? To me it's logical. I think that atheists cannot see the forrest because of all the trees in the way. The irst step to not believing something is not wanting to. (in my last post I meant to say "brain", not "brin". whoopsie!)
Exactuly. You probably heard the example use of the frog on the pot? If you throw a frog into a boilg pot of water, it jumps right out. But if you put it in cold water and slowly heat it, it will eventually boil to death. We all were born in a world with God all around us, and we simply go so used to it that be take it for granted. Most don't even see Him anymore. That's why children are so amazing. I wish there was a way to quantify "faith". You would see that children have more than adults.
geeze, I make a lot of spelling errors. I meant the following "Exactly", not "Exactuly", "in" not "on", "boiling" not "boilg", "get" not "go", "we" not "be"
The possibility that these codes are just coincidence are less than one in ten-million. And that's just scientific facts. It was published in an american Statistical Science Journal. It was peer reviewed and underwent a more rigorous and thorough investigation than almost any other paper that was published in that journal. There's always problems with explaing these codes to people who do not understand math well...or those who do not have a notion of probablility.
Great video sir. You obviously believe in G-d, and it is nice to see that you believe that G-d is even more powerful and incredible than so many other so-called "believers". Noah spent hundreds of years building an ark while being ridiculed by people who never saw rain. So do not let negative comments come between you and the prophecy that the 'seals' will be opened in the end times. Now that we have computers, we can preform calculations that would take a million people a million years to do.
You sound like a baby. Even if you type a little hyphen, you're still attempting to label a god, and everyone knows what you're talking about. It shows no more respect than if I were to call you an "idi-t". I got your reply by the way, but i won't respond to it since it looks like you deleted it.
No, I deleted my own responce, something wasn't working. Oops. I don't have a problem spelling God. I just write G-d out of respect for those who have issue with it. It's called courtesy. You seem to have a problem with what others believe. Is it affecting your life that much? If you don't believe in "God" then why do you even bother watching videos like this? Obviously if you don't believe in "God" to begin with, then there's no point debating over this code, right?
I don't have a problem with what others believe- just with what people consider reality, and what people tell eachother is fact. I have a problem with oppression and theifs. I watch these videos so I can see different sides of the story, but it's so infuriating how the religious authorities take believers for rubes! They can really tell you anything and you gobble it up like it was easter candy! Omnomnomnom~ The worst is convincing everyone of how much sin they have, so they need the church...
All the negative comments towards the 'bible code' can be catagorized into two groups.
1. Athiests who don't even believe in te bible in the first place.
2. Believers who believe that the bible code is a defilement of the bible.
But the interesting thing about the Truth is that it does not need anybodys approval in order to be valid. Denying the Truth does not take away it's validity. So, SisterRay100, are you sure that the biblle code has been "debunked"? Or has it simply been "denied"??
The objector's motives have nothing to do with the answer to the mathematical question whether any statistical significance can be shown about letter skipping in the Bible in comparison with the same in other texts.
(continued) If it can be shown, we mark this claim as 'true' and if not, as 'false'. The 'Bible Code' has failed in all peer-reviewed statistical examinations. It can only impress us with specific anecdotes, but such anecdotes have been presented in other texts as well. And that means the 'Bible Code' deserves the truth-value, 'false'.
SisterRay, I'm sorry to say, but you have obviously not looked into it. Scientific Journal Statistical Science could not refute the evidence. If you were walking through the woods and saw a big boulder with a smaller boulder on top of it, well, you would probably not even take notice. If there were4 or 5 on top of each other, you may say "hmmm, what a coincidence". If there were 10 or 20, could you still deny that someone arranged it that way? Anything can be denied.
(cont'd) Obviously the world is big, and so you may find SOMEWHERE where there's 10 rocks piled on top of each other by natural causes. But in this case, there's a forrest FULL of tall stacks. A rational critic cannot point to one other occurrance to refute this forrest full of piles as a natural occurance. The only other rational criticism is that some other entity arranged it. In the case of the bible code, some believe that it was from aliens. But even then, there's agreement of a code.
Just because rocks are piled up does not prove anything besides the fact that the rocks are piled up- you cannot simply jump to conclusions because you think something looks a certain way. Your beliefs may not reflect reality. And finding the words swine and disease in the bible does not mean that it predicted this relatively harmless disease. If it said "Swine flu H1N1 will come from this farm, and kill this many people, and this would be a way to prevent it", then it might be worth something.
If you saw 20 rocks piled up on each other, your fisrt instinct would be that no one put it there? Especially if there were hundreds of these piles? Your first thougt would be "wow! what a coincidence!!"
Another thing: the code cannot be used to tell the future. It confirms the past. If you looked into it you would already know this. It may hint to what the future holds, but nothing's concrete until it passes.
So you mean you wouldn't know which little words to pick out to make it look like it's actually talking about something that ALREADY HAPPENED. What a useless diatribe- attempting to prove the validity of the bible by taking "major recent events" (swine flu was only overblown by the media) and then startling the congregation by stating that the bible wrote about this occurrence. Don't tell them that you pick and choose the words carefully out of each sentence, or they'll think you're nuts.
If I saw 20 rocks piled up, and I didn't know any better, I might think that someone placed them- but just because I think something does not make it true, and if there was another explanation, then I would be interested to know it- but I would need sufficient reasonable evidence, not just a claim. It sounds like if you saw any sufficiently advanced configuration, you would be quick to cry "god" without a second thought. //// Your bible code only confirms the bible through past events. Useless.

Someone killing you would therefore be no sadder an event than a star imploding. In fact, it would be predetermined according to 'universal laws' since even the notion of "choice" would be also an illusion.

It's interesting that god punishes also pigs and birds for their immoral behavior.
