How does it actually achieve 8 tracks though, especially in nice quality? Is it using 100% CPU for software mixing, or could we see a playback routine for this in a game?
@batlin It is using most of the processor to mix the channels, yes. If reducing to four channels it's very usable for games (about 30% processor usage with the Lance replay routines).
Press sample view, the button then changes to 8 pattern, so press it again and voila. Or you can press full-edit to have the entire screen of 8-track pattern.
