@bnadtwngo1 Hi, that’s in Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand. It’s a bit of a train ride (or Bangkok Air flies there too, not super expensive) but worth spending a few days, take a trip to the surrounding mountains etc.

You could be jailed (disrespecting the nation and king), but its almost never enforced unless you intentionally shout or continue to talk to someone or something. Most Thai people do respect their nation, so that doesn't happen often.

Thailand also proposed new laws requiring people to stand in cinemas, and a new one in 2007 for cars to stop (Google 'Thai anthem car law').

This how everyone should feel about there country n anthem... I love how the Thai People stop and sing tooo. You would catch anyone in Australia stopping to pay tribute let alone half Australians dont even knw the anthem.
