i strengthen one city and wait until i get good offensive units like knights or tanks and i then unleash a blitzkreig but other than that i build lots of buildings

Tips (I have beaten Diety with this strategy)

First, you gonna to build your first city with balance on food, gold and trade, right? Well, I suppose you should build a city near a sea, in order to get much science.

Second, If your first city is going well, quickly build a settler, to get the most comfortable place!

Third, build many libraries and universities to produce even more science.

Technology is the most important things, even if you want to win a Domination victory!
