In my opinion, the fact that he's making the YouTube videos shows that he's "doing", as you put it. It seems that over 5,000 people agree with me, since they all subscribe to his videos.

Are you ready for all the questions on health care, the war, welfare, childcare, high speed chases, and of course drug law reform. Will you legalize marijuana? Will you crack down on anything and everything right wing? I might be puting you on the spot a bit but we all want to know if you can handle the heat.

Davis's self-indulgant solution comprises of giving up, having others follow him to wait their hopeless demise. Mike Gravel once said "there is no such thing as a hopeless situation, only people who feel the situation is hopeless". You can buy into the bullshit that your not America or you dont count. Or you can start being American and fight! What if our forefathers fell to self pity regarding the Constitution? Its time the citzens accomplished its eqivilant like the NI4D and make it LAW!
I agree, that's why I choose to make a statement. This is my way of making that statement. Davis has a lot of viewers... if just a hundred of them make their own statement, that's a movement. We don't all have to make the same statement, but I like that I am still able to do so via the internet. My fight to change the system may be more subtle, but it's still my fight.
When I saw state tally from Democratic precincts, several people had cast votes for Edwards and Kucinich even though both had dropped out prior to caucus. It should be well known by now that the Democratic party is never going to allow a progressive to become the nominee for fear of losing the race. What they will do is call one of their candidates a progressive in order to fool some of the people some of the time. Still, the question remains: why have two candidates split your own party?

There was a time that I had blind faith in the way the system was set up. The way I learned it was set up in public school anyway.
Now my faith is faltering. I'm just trying to make my own statement about my realization that the system is flawed. Take from it what you will.
