good job, in egypt we add the cumin to the rice and the water that used to boil the lentils we used it to cook the rice as well.. one thing there is another sause called "kamounia" u add the vinegar, water ,cumin salt and garlic u have to have it with kushari in egypt thank u for nice cooking
Thanks for your addition.I was taught to make this dish by an Egyptian friend,but she never mentioned the sauce you are telling me about.I should visit Egypt one day to try the authentic Kushari .
