  • Thanks!!!

  • "Sodium... Chloride" Haha. One of the best videos on the internet???... I'm gonna have to say yes.

  • my teacher played this to us!! now its stuck in my head...right before exams! yay!

  • Your next song should be on Ionisation and the Haber Cycles!

  • Thanks for the comment. My own students tend to really like them, probably because I pass out several rhythm instruments that they can play along with once they show me they can sing the words. A lot of the boys like to play the sticks, tambourines, and maracas. I'll have to think about the one for the resistance of a wire. If you email me the major concepts for it if I did do a song, that would help.

    DE

  • I love your videos, I play them to my classes all the time and in a pupil voice survey my pupils said that your songs were awful (tsk kids) but they helped them to learn. I personally disagree with the awful bit but kids are kids and if it helps them to learn then its a winner!

Please can you do one for resistance of a wire? I can't find anything to make this topic interesting!

  • When my teacher shows this to us i sing the dancing queen lyrics :) haha

  • My teacher plays these songs everyday. A lot of people don't like them, but I think they're awesome!

  • That's great. It is so nice to know that it is helping students! Mr. E

  • Great singing all sceince teachers were showing it and it seemed to help all my classmates including me

  • chemical bonds!

    there are three types!

    ionic, convalent, metallic bonds

the only involve the valence electrons

the atoms join to form compounds or molecules

  • 5 STARS!! =D We are students at Dickerson Middle School. Our class are suppose to sing this too! But we are suppose to make our own lyrics.

    Here is mine:

  • YOu are amazing. I wish you were our teacher..Thanks for sharing your work with world

  • Thank you for sharing that with me! That is awesome that you are finding it helpful. I would love to hear you all sing it! My students do that sometimes as well and I know that it has helped them on tests because they remember the phrases that go together for each type of bonding. All the best to you all!! Mr. E

    great song!

  • Thanks so much! I am using it with my own students now. What is nice is that I can go back to phrases in it such as, "They become ions, CHARGED ATOMS... or the METAL is plus, the nonmetal MINUS ..... or the METAL might have 1-2 or 3 electrons for the nonmetal to receive... All the best. Mr. E
