Whether this guy is a predator or not, what these vigilantes did is absolutely wrong. An admission coerced under duress would not stand up in a court of law. I'm not sure what happened next, but this video should be reported to the police. These people have trespassed and assaulted - and possibly more. I have flagged it for YouTube's attention.

Anyway, this isn't a proper way to obtain that sort of confession. You won't get a good confession under the threat of bodily harm. Notice he only confessed after they'd picked up the implement and were threatening him with it? Under those conditions most people will say just about anything they're told.
