I would really love it if you could do a test of some more eco-friendly/organic products, and show how they hold up against your regular favourites! I prefer to use products that are less damaging to the environment, and makeup is a rather neglected area when it comes to sustainable living. Have you tried any of the brands that offer eco-friendly alternatives? The few there are, are usually pricy - I'm in a dilemma about whether to invest, or just buy less of the normal stuff... Thanks!

I especially like this look. But, whenever I try to do any dark-ish liner on my bottom lid, it closes up my eyes, and emphasizes the bags. Lighter colors just don't have the same effect. Any suggestions? Even putting mascara on my lower lashes has the same effect. Without doing anything to the bottom lids/lashes, I always feel like I'm only "half-done" with my eye makeup. Lauren, you will really enjoy Weight Watchers. You eat what you want. You stay within your daily allowance. Use your 49 weekly allowance. Make sure you have Activity points. You can use them for food. It is not a diet. If you do not have time for the meetings, you can do it online. Weight Watchers works!

Hi Lauren, I was glad to hear you were going to join weightwatchers. I went last year and it worked real well. I didn't have to give up everything I liked and it taught me to eat right. Unfortunately we don't have it anymore where I live (the boonies in Canada) but I'm going to try to do it on my own, I wish I had some girls to do this with for incentive and support. I made a New Years Resolution to completely revamp my diet. I have cut out alcohol and cut my sugar intake back to under 50 grams a day and stay away from processed foods. Lots of fruits, veggies, whole grains and nuts. I feel better than I have in years and I am sticking to it!! I've lost over 5 pounds.

As for New Year's resolutions, I decided to try to wear heels on a regular basis. (I'm 4'9") and my shortness is in my legs so heels make a huge difference in how I feel about myself. So far I've done well at wearing them often. I've found that heels can be pretty comfortable if you find just the right fit!
Lauren! It is possible to eat delicious food AND be healthy and correct ones weight.. without starving! WW is the starving way...
Google low carb high fat. The food humans have eaten for million of years, it's natural and essential for us.. whilst "new" carbs (starch and sugar) are not!
Think about what sugar does to our teeth.. imagine what it does in our stomach.. :(

Jenny is awesome because you don't count points or calories because food is already picked out PLUS there are variety to choose from. I personally lost 52lb with Jenny.
I would really love a tutorial for girls with freckles. I'm quite fair, blue eyes, lightbrown hair, and freckles. They've faded a lot since I've gotten old (I'm 26 now), but I fell like every time I use foundation it looks like I'm trying to cover them up and that make up competes with them. Maybe you could find a freckley friend to do a look on haha. Anyway, love your work Lauren!

I have lost 2 stone, I started to lose weight in October. I have done this on my own , I bought a smaller dinner plate I eat what everyone else in the family does just a much smaller portion, I do not eat between meals unless its a peice of fruit so no sweets or biscuites or crisps, I do allwow myself one treat a month. i would recommend slimming world. my parents lost like a stone in a couple of weeks compared to a couple of pounds in weightwatchers. its worth seeing what works for you.

@DandiDanielle2839 I'm only saying this from personal experience, but I've had some health issues arise due to my weight... by exercising and eating healthier I've been able eliminate the majority of it:) So while I don't think it always "looks" like someone might need to lose weight, I think its important to consider the internal effects their weight might have on the body... it doesn't necessarily mean someone is trying to lose weight because they think they're ugly.
@silverbracelet6 I know that. I wasn't insinuating that she's ugly or that she thinks she's ugly or that she's only going on a diet because she thinks she's ugly or anything like that. I was merely trying to give her a compliment and remind her that everyone thinks she's beautiful. With all the pressure of society these days, it's always nice to be reminded that someone thinks you're pretty.

One thing that drives me mad is by lunch time or so, my makeup is all smudged under my eyes; even if I use waterproof eyeliner, waterproof eyeshadow and waterproof mascara... it always happens to me.

I have lost 2 stone, I started to lose weight in October. I have done this on my own , I bought a smaller dinner plate I eat what everyone else in the family does just a much smaller portion, I do not eat between meals unless its a peice of fruit so no sweets or biscuites or crisps, I do allwow myself one treat a month. i would recommend slimming world. my parents lost like a stone in a couple of weeks compared to a couple of pounds in weightwatchers. its worth seeing what works for you.

@DandiDanielle2839 I'm only saying this from personal experience, but I've had some health issues arise due to my weight... by exercising and eating healthier I've been able eliminate the majority of it:) So while I don't think it always "looks" like someone might need to lose weight, I think its important to consider the internal effects their weight might have on the body... it doesn't necessarily mean someone is trying to lose weight because they think they're ugly.

I love all your looks! and how you make each one individual ... which can be tricky considering how long you've been making videos. You should zoom in on your eye's when your applying the shadow and liner ... One thing that drives me mad is by lunch time or so, my makeup is all smudged under my eyes; even if I use waterproof eyeliner, waterproof eyeshadow and waterproof mascara... it always happens to me.

This is beautiful, Lauren!! Question for you: I was wondering if you could address this.
I am in my mid 40's, and by the middle of the day, my wrinkles really show through my makeup on the outsides and underside of my eyes. Do you have any suggestions?
I've tried using a mousse foundation with powder to set it, and that seems to do well enough, but I hate how the wrinkles make me so tired looking!!

Babe i love your stuff and i already used some of your looks. I think you should use a better light, a proper light source because when I watch your tutorials I feel like aproaching the monitor. I think thats the reason. The camera quality is reasonable but your looks deserve more visability.
