Transfering your site using Joomla Pack by Norm Douglas - Part 2

Do i need to install joomla on the domain or the subdomain in order for the url to work?

I'm using Cpanel, but after uploading the backup (with ackeeba), I can't extract the backup file??

Any idea how to fix this problem?

i made a back up and downloaded it my pc and then saved it to a ext hard drive.

Now I want to upload it into a local host (XAMPP) on another PC.

So can u suggest a way to import the backed up data to the new local host rather than a remote host?

Just copy the archive file to the new pc. Then extract it there
